I've got to wait until Thursday before I can even order mine. I have to wait a couple of days for courier delivery as well.
Consider yourself lucky that you can even order the damn thing. We have only 2 cell phone companies (Verizon which sucks balls, and Sprint, which sucks even more balls just not as hard.) to choose from. I use a pre-paid service with no contract. It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever have a contract with a cell phone company again. Verizon fucked me over hardcore when they bought out Alltel.
If you live in Kansas, you should be able to get AT&T...is there just no coverage in your particular part of the state?

That would be correct. My friend had AT&T at one point, although he had to have at least 80% of his calls within their coverage area, which were not. They sent him a letter telling him this, after telling the agents he bought it from what his intentions were. But that was back when it was Cingular Wireless, which carried basically the same rules as today's AT&T. We live about 75 miles outside of the main service area, which is in Wichita. Gotta love living in BFE, lol.

Yeah, I don't envy you guys at all. Mobile phone providers in your country are really crappy. I guess it's a lot harder for them to set the infrastructure up due to the size of the country. We get very good reception on O2 wherever we are in the UK. The only time I hear people complaining about reception etc are people on other providers. It's one of the reasons I've been with O2 for close to a decade now. Flawless reception wherever I go.

So mine arrived at the store - but they won't let me come pick it up until tomorrow, even though it is paid for! I might try tonight with a different sales rep, but since people are getting them delivered to their house today, I don't see what the big f'n deal is.

No, it didn't. But after talking to a different rep, I was able to come in and pick it up. So I now have the phone, and it is sweet!

I want one so hard. I just hope I don't have to wait long for it when I order it tomorrow.
