What do you dislike the most about your favorite console?

I also hate the fact that the N64 analogue sticks are so fragile. That and the 'foggy'/'fuzzy' low-res look in most of the games, and also, the un-reliability and confusing user interface of the memory cards.

My favourite consoles?

Megadrive - The 64 colour limit. Also, expensive cart space that limited speech samples and many other things.

Dreamcast - The fact that it perished too soon!

PS2 - Dirty video output, DRE's, low video memory.

360 - Drive loudness, steep energy requirement, fragility of chipset and controller.

I have a 4 year old controller that hasn't broken.
It looks like a wreck.
Just about every other system I have controllers break very easily.

N64- fragile joysticks, no endlabels. Also, you have only a few killer app games, and the rest of the library is kind of forgettable.

DS- When games can't decide if they want to use the touchscreen or the buttons. Using both is just irritating. Also, no GB/C support.

Gamecube- tiny discs, super duper tiny D-Pad. Like, it was so tiny they may as well have not put one at all.

The GBA wide has indeed poor lighting but it's very beautiful imo and I prefer it over the SP even though i Have both.

Sega master System II - I remember I used to be scared to press the PAUSE button on the actual console because it would sometimes freeze my 5 hour Alex Kidd game making me cry like a frikkin baby.

Game Gear - The machine ate 6 AA Batteries in about 2 hours of gameplay. Defeated the point of its portability. It became a crapper console.

don't even get me started. This was such a dumb-ass decision to me. If they had kept full backwards compatability then the DS would be capable of playing over 21 years worth of carts!! A-holes.

NES-

I don't like having to worry about dirty contacts.
I kind of wish the carts were the same size and form factor as the famicom carts.
I wish that more games made it to the US.
I wish that my NES could play enhanced famicom carts, like Castlevania 3 and Just Breed.
I wish that my NES looked and played better on an HDTV.

N64 Gameshark, bad as YLOD and RROD. I am the proud owner of 4 dead carts. Have some weird import version holding out.
