I have a tendency to think that the emulated Neo Geo compilations get shat on simply because Neo Geo owners are pissy that an excellent compilation of games they've spent thousands on can be found for under $20. As a result, they find the tiniest little imperfections in emulation and blow them out of proportion. It's a great collection and I highly recommend it.
I agree with this statement. I got the Wii version and notice no slow down or blurriness, and yes I am fine with the controls.
Yeah, this makes total sense to me, too.

This is what I was thinking of rather than slow down. For me I noticed input lag on the first game but the others did not seem to suffer from it.

4&5 on the PS2 were ports that ran at the proper frame rate and in 240p identically to the arcade cab. The Anthology is a badly emulated, blurry, slowdown riddled mess which I honestly hate.
MS6 in anthology is a port, the rest are emulated (badly).

Ah, didn't know they ported instead of emulating the Sammy Atomiswave, MS6 is still a bad port in it's own right. The Atomiswave was a 240p filter free arcade system yet it still has this horrid, seriously dark and dim, washed out and filtered look that's worse than the rest on my TV.
