To be honest, with no DRM, this was bound to happen. But as the article itself says, there's some legitimate reasons as to why people may "pirate" the game. For example, I donated money today in order to receive the bundle and therefore I now own full copies of all these games. However if, for example, my mum, or my little brother wanted to have a go at any of these games, I wouldn't think twice about sending them the link so that they could download my copies of the games.

On the other hand, there are of course going to be those individuals who don't want to pay, or cannot be bothered to pay for the games, just like how a lot of people illegally download retails games.

I shared my link with a couple of friends. Not that I paid much, but I feel that at least I tried to do something. Said friends enjoyed the games and all, but it's kinda difficult to support thinga like this from where I live, since international credit cards are not that common. I'm rather lucky to have one.

Same here, I wouldn't have been able to do it if my bank hadn't recently switch their cards to Visa. But I paid through Amazon.com from the UK and it went fine.

Just a friendly bump so those who bought the bundle know that Samorost 2 has been added to peoples steam account, it is an earlier game by the creators of Machinarium, similar graphic styling, very fun game. The first one is free on there website, though it is not needed in order to play the second.

Oo! I was wondering when that was going to come onto Steam... Thanks for the heads up.
