Nothing can be done about that. It's a server limitation (MySQL, which PHPBB3 uses as it's database backend has a max connection limit that can be set on the server by an admin), so unless the server company fix it there's nothing that racket can do.

jesus, why couldn't the original response be, "good idea, we'll see what we can do." then follow up with "apparently we can't find an apporpriate phpBB mod for our forum's software, but here's a temporary quick-fix, etc" sometimes i don't know about this place. sometimes.

Holding Shift while clicking will open in a new window.

Holding Ctrl while clicking will open in a new tab.


Once you get in the habit, it doesn't matter if links open in the same window or not. I never even notice anymore, except for when I want them to open in the same window and they don't.

Yeah, I just click my mouse wheel when I want to open a new tab. Can't get much easier than that. Even if a scroll wheel doesn't necessarily enjoy being used as a button, I do it so frequently it's become second nature.
