In the EU, they explain why a R-4 is refereed to as a R-2 in A NEW HOPE, and all other inconsistencies.

The biggest problem with the EU (IMO) is that half of the stories are made to fill in plot holes or to fix continuity. *cough*Star Wars:BF2*cough*

Uuuuh, Obi Wan just didn't know if Leia was force sensitive or not.

In Splinter of the Mind's Eye (Which was released and took place between A NEw Hope and Empire) Leia actually fights Darth Vader with Luke's Sabre.

I've been meaning to re-watch the Star Wars films, so I'll see if I can come up with an answer. I don't think there's a need to delete this thread, we can use this thread as a go-to Star Wars thread.

Doesn't Vader also shoot a large ball of energy in that book? You know, like a Sith Hadouken? I could have sworn I remember that.

I haven't read the book myself (I'll buy it eventually) I read the synopsis. It's not that crazy considering that Star Killer (Vader's apprentice in Force Unleashed) fires a Sith Hadouken himself.
