gamer girls in hiding?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

My WIFE plays games all the time, she doesnt play the ones I like, but she plays. This is most common, dont expect them to play only what you like, oh yeah, try to get involved with the games "they" like.

A goof like me married one, I hold hope out for everyone else LOL

As we speak my wife is playing Fat Princess while I am on the PC reading these forums... :) She doesn't play games as much or like the exact same games as me, but she actually thinks that collecting them is a good hobby. We met because of IT jobs; people that know about technology more than likely know at least a little bit about video games, PCs, or something related.

Ah,, the collection, I had one for awhile. Then the wife kind of took it over, which has been awesome for me. She gets more excited over finding a hidden treasure than I do LOL
She has made my collection ten times what it was!

i agree you can find a girl who accepts your hobby (read: obsession). but i think someone to argue with over "who was the better character: sephiroth vs. cloud" would be so amazing. i dont care if she collects, i just want someone to share the "WOW" moments of the gaming world with. does that make sense? it would be sweet to have a "WOULD YOU KINDLY" go cut the grass moment. i have more games than anyone i have ever actually met, and even my own mother thinks its a waste of time. is it so hard to ask to cuddle AND play MW2 on the same team? maybe its just my area.

May be just me, but I'm thinking that a lot of "girl gamers" hide their hobby because they know how insane most male gamers would get at even the thought of a female with the same hobby as them.

...can't say I blame them.

What if you found one, but she weighed 300 pounds and smelled like sour cream and funyuns?
