It's easy to infringe on one another's space given the size of this cab, but when two grown men are having a close battle in a fighting game, it gets quite humorous and adds to the fun. If you sit at a slight angle away from each other there seems to be enough room. I purchased this cab for its overall form factor as it doesn't look like some pretentious beast, but more like a center piece of retro furniture.

I have an unmodded AES, and I might want to send it to them for unibios + S-video.
I got mine from http://neotropolis.net/ they imported everything and modded the system to my exact specs. They're great. I opened up the AES itself to checkout their work and it looks brand new inside and the mods themselves are really clean and elegant. I would go component, it looks crystal clear!

I also just finished replacing the stock 13" CRT with a 21" LCD over the weekend. Will post pics at my original thread on that subject.

@swirlee

So the multigame 111 in 1 worked for you? Maybe I should order that optional power cable for the MVS Super Converter 2 after all. That may be my problem. I've been talking with Jammaboards about returning the multigame to them but they take over a week to respond to me so I still haven't shipped it back to them.

*edit*
Nevermind. My system isn't compatible with the special AC adapter so I will be returning the multigame cart. I guess swirlee's AES must have been a later model with a more powerful power adapter.

Heyo sorry... been AFK for a week or so. :)

I tried out my 111 in 1 multigame and was able to launch a few games. Some crashed at the menu screens while others let me play for a few seconds before crashing.

I bought this cart primarily for my MVS cab, but figured it would work on my modded AES based on the youtube vids and some stuff I read on the neo-geo forums. Nobody that got it to work was using the same configuration as me though, Unibios 2.X and 100 in 1 carts so maybe that has something to do with it.

I still plan on researching the subject more and I will let you know what I find out.

Oh so it doesn't work for you either. That's good to know. I just got a reply back from them and I will be able to return it, thankfully.

I have a CMVS that has an MV-1C (toploading) board in it. Its got a unibios 2.3 and it works with every game on my 100 in 1 cart. I didnt think the unibios would work but it does. Also, Ive got a test button on my CMVS as well so I can lower the difficulty from 8 to 4 which is what its supposed to be. 8)

I got all this stuff in 2008 and its worked great so far.

I wonder why the 111 in 1 is giving trouble. I wonder if its worth getting the 150 in 1 cart.

i remember my neogeo aes crush. we used to have a small entertainment center or what ever you call it. anyway. i was addicted to that place. all day long i'm there. my parents give me money to buy grocery. i come back after a round of ART OF FIGHTING 1. i liked robert. when older people play i was amazed, cuz they actually do the special moves, and i was staring at them full of excitment. i remember one day when my father had to come to the place to get me to the house. lol. man i remeber that hit on the back of my nick. my father went " YOU HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW YOU IDIOT "
owning a neogeo was like out of my league thing. i was just dreaming to get one.
anyway those days are over. now im married with a successfull career. i have it all. good wife, good car and i have my own house.
on a regular day i was utubing. some how i watched a neogeo game on utube. it was AOF 2. at this moment, i was like resurructed. what the heck im buying it as long as it makes me feel joyfull. i went all day long looking for a system to buy. its nice to fullfill your dream. the childish feeling of excitment is back on in those couple days waiting for my system to arrive.

MAN im glad that i shared this feelings for the first time of my life

im sorry if i went on and on that long

i wish you all the best
