Anything But Power Point.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Ugh.
The key is to use it differently than everyone else. Look up some tutorials on kick ass effects in Power Point.

I know, and I hate to sound defeated, but after so many years of using it, I'm not sure of how to use it differently.

It's tacky to talk about money, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to skyrocket my career, and could easily make six figures my first year. My proposal highlights my experience in marketing as being ahead of the curve. Hard to convey that with a power point presentation. Good thing the material I leave them will be on paper.

Maybe you can just do some really good design? If you can't do it differently, do it well.

What about Flash? Do you not know how to use it or do you not want to use it? If it's the former, it's really easy to make presentations with Flash.

Probably your longest impression, a reminder of the presentation, hope it works out.

I've got flash animation on my mock website that I'm presenting, don't want to overuse it.
The power point doesn't look awful, mostly numbers anyway.

Definitely appreciate that.

And if things don't work out, there is always another opportunity.

For Luke's presentation this time I wouldn't do this as it has a bit of a learning curve, but for future presentations (and for other people with upcoming presentations) consider using Latex with the Beamer package. It really isn't hard. Your standard slide has some bulletpoints and some images. There is a command that you can basically copy paste for embedding the graphics, and then just change the name of the picture or whatever. The bullet points are simply writing

\begin{itemize}
\item This is one bulletpoint
\item this is another one
\end{itemize}

After having you content you can completely change the style by changing the class just by typing in the new class name.

It is a bit "programming" like but it is very powerful. After you get used to its "syntax" you mostly won't need to bother with proper placement, and can edit stuff without making everything else on the same slide go wonky and need to readjust.

As Hatta said before:
Hatta wrote:Consider LaTeX Beamer. LaTeX is an open source type-setting language. It has the advantage of separating content from presentation, so it's easy to change the style of one slide or your entire presentation. It's not something you can pick up and use right away, but it's extremely powerful and worth learning. Books, journal articles, presentations, letters, etc, can all be typeset with LaTeX. You can compile it directly to PDF with pdflatex. If you program, you'll like it. If not, take a look you might still find it interesting.

Another thought. If the presentation is on HTML or PDF format, copies are more universally readable on any client's computer. Hard paper copy best, but having easily spread digital copy increases your networking.
