Re: Anyone Remember Dragon's Lair?
This mods ruling is that the best version is the 20th anniversary PC release. It was remastered, audio redubbed, the soundtrack rerecorded in 5.1, and contains the original everything. Itll run you forty for Dragons Lair 1&2 and Space Ace.
Other than that the Laserdisc original (via arcade hardware or daphne).
And I hope to meet Don Bluth this year. Ive got a Dragons Lair poster at home waiting on his autograph.

Oh god, it doesn't have one of those stupid CD Keys, does it? I tend to only find used PC Games, and most of them have a dumb CD Key, so I'm usually shit-outta-luck.fastbilly1 wrote:This mods ruling is that the best version is the 20th anniversary PC release. I can't imagine how much I'd be pulling my hair out if I was one of those people that refuses to buy used anything and instead buys sealed NES games to play.

For once I agree with 17daysolderthanthenes17DaysOlderThanNES wrote:If you say one word about the Gameboy Color version, I will throw you from a moving vehicle.noiseredux wrote:quick! Somebody guess which version I'm gonna talk up...
I have too many ports of this game; CD-i, 3DO, Sega CD and others but I don't feel like looking. I actually got a chance to play it in the Arcades. It took a dollar a play, had a big joystick and a button. I use to watch the cartoon show on ABC then the reruns on USA's Cartoon Express.
Did anyone else like the SNES version? I rented it once but never bought it. Noiseredux which GB version do you like better Dragon's Lair or Dragon's Lair: the Legend.

I like Dragon's Lair (GBC), which I actually have been wanting a copy of for a while. I hated Dragon's Lair: The Legend.pepharytheworm wrote: Noiseredux which GB version do you like better Dragon's Lair or Dragon's Lair: the Legend.
