Good info.

Hard to believe, but Rule of Rose actually got a PAL release. In France only. Everywhere else? Banned!

Hoo boy. I should've snapped that up when I had the chance.

Also did you know Manhunt is banned in AUS/NZ? Yeah, I guess verboten games are the hardest to find.

It was released in Italy too. Just like Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, by 505 Games also.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to add this to the list of PS2 games I need to buy.

On top of SMT-DDV, I'd say that the original devil summoner is becoming more valuable if unopened. It's getting harder to find a new copy for under 70$ (despite the larger original print run). The second one isn't as hard to find at a decent price, but I want to say that in a few years it might be more valuable if you have the sealed plush doll with it.

My guess is that the new Sakura wars game for the ps2 is going to be a real collectors item in a few years. Also, a new copy of Ar Tonelico (special edition), is going for no less than 90$ as far as I can tell, and Ar Tonelico 2 is fast approaching that price range.

The megaman X collection is definitely becoming more valuable, since a used copy rarely goes for under $30 and a new copy is significantly more expensive. I dunno about the megaman collection, since that one is on the fence between decent and expensive in value. We would have to wait and see if the price goes up on that one.

Rule of Rose and Fire Wrestling are indeed very hard to get a hold of.. the problem with these is that they're purely for collectors

some games that are "rare" and expensive are not just for collectors, but also for the more wealthy player (think ICO cardboard, mgs3 subsistence etc)

Ar Tonelico 1 and 2 will also be expensive (they are allready) since they are late releases and only limited to france/italy

Oop sorry Xtincthed. Maybe this one.

Oh geeze that is way over priced! Maybe better just buy something else.

A French version that can be changed to English language.
