I would have never gotten into this series if it weren't for DVDs. I only started watching the series this season. I rented the first two seasons and blew through them, now I'm stuck watching season 3 on a weekly basis. Thankfully, I have a DVR now a days, so I buffer 20 minutes before I start watching so I can blow through the commercials. I really can't stand watching TV with commercials any more, especially hour long dramas.

My point is, if I was only watching the show when it airs on TV I would never be able to get into it.

I started watching at the episode where they get kidnapped by tuco and are trying to get away. The bit with the old guy and the bell was brilliant and I haven't missed an episode since. I got season 1 for christmas to fill in the remaining blanks before season 3 started.

The ending was awesome enough, but even more awesome because I wasn't expecting it. I saw that the show was almost over and thought things were gonna wrap up, and then he got the warning call. He seemed to be panicking for a while and I thought nothing would end up happening til the next episode.

Anyway, more tonight!

Usually when you watch movies or shows, you assume that the "good guy" is gonna live no matter how the scene is panning out. This ending, I really thought he was gonna die.
