i agree in everything you said.fastbilly1 wrote:Mugen can be very broken. Its not a solid fighting game, it is just a fun diversion. Now if a group puts alot of time into it, they can release a balanced and awesome fighting game:
DC vs Marvel:
Card Sagas
Neither of which are released to my knowledge though - DC vs Marvel has released characters though.
...and I have over 600 Mugen characters.fastbilly1 wrote:And before I updated it...
Come now though, I can have Ash from Army of Darkness take on Ryu AND Nakoruru. I will admit Ive got over 1000 Mugen characters...
And Card Sagas updated:
Bub from Bubble Bobble and a Worm from Worms are tags. Holy Crap they need to finish this game.
i love the work of Warusaki and POTS. I'm hoping the newly release Mugen 1.0 (currently at RC6) improves the older version. Right now it has minor bugs but stability is ok.the7k wrote:I actually had a pretty good MUGEN set-up. Only used the highest of high-quality characters (Warusaki, Sander, muteki and POTS's stuff, mostly), and then I'd finely tune each of the characters' stats until I had it all - more or less - balanced.
It was great, but I unfortunately lost all of it when my hard-drive crashed.
MUGEN would be great if the community didn't just commit suicide. It became a huge clash between the code-stealing guttersnipes and the increasingly paranoid + isolationist professionals.
