I did find one lot that actually had 4 out of the 4 games as something I would buy 'on purpose', so hopefully it's not gone by next month. Can't pass up Last Blade + King of Fighters R2 + Metal Slug 1 + Gal Fighters. Great pack.

But I am saving a lot of cash for the Pink Godzilla booth at PAX East. If there's anything there (which there will be) that I can't resist, I'm going all out. That includes NGPC and WS games.

the great thing about neo geo pocket color is that if you dont mind not having cases or manuals, some of those blister packs with 4-6 games in have some great stuff. I got a 4 game blister with gals fighters, puzzle link, faselei! and sonic pocket adventure for quite cheap.

Good call on the NGPC. Love mine, have several games including Metal Slug 1 and 2 as well as Dark Arms. I like it almost as much as my Lynx. Much like the Lynx, very underappreciated.

Thats the first time I've ever read that before. Is the Lynx any good? I thought there were barely any good games for it.

The only game I thought looked decent on the lynx is the newly released one Zaku. The system is also comically oversized.

The first time I saw a Lynx in person was in 2008 or so in a museum (really - although it was in a temporary videogame expo :) ). It really is huge, I didn't imagine it so big when I saw it in adverts. After that I saw a couple of times in games stores.

The Lynx is a vastly under-appreciated system. Basically its entire library is an arcade port, or an arcade style game. It means a pretty big lack of epic games and such, so if you're into those kinds of games then you're not going to find a huge amount. However, if you're into arcade games at all, then it's amazing. Klax, Gauntlet, Robosquash, California Games, Checkered Flag, Rampart, the list goes on and on. And it's the original system of Chip's Challenge, which, if anyone remembers the old windows game, is awesome.

As far as the size, it is in fact huge. However, it's ridiculously comfortable to hold, and it isn't very heavy, you gotta try it to really see what I mean.
My Want List!

Consoles: Sega Master System, NES Toploader, Genesis/32X, Sega CDX, SNES, 3DO FZ-1, Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Sony PS2, Nintendo Gamecube, Xbox Halo Edition, Wii, PS3
Handhelds: Atari Lynx, Sega Nomad, Neo Geo Pocket Color, GBC (Atomic Purple, Pokemon Edition), GBA (Pink OG, Silver SP, Spongebob SP+), DS (Phat, iXL), 3DS, PSP (1000, Go)

I'm planning on getting a Lynx after my Wonderswan arrives; there's a couple games I want to try on the system. One thing I noticed about the Lynx is that all the sprites are ginormous. Was the system incapable of small sprites or something? But, it did have some unbelievable 3D games unmatched by even some home consoles of the time.

I own
Metal slug 1 and 2
Dark arms
KOF r2
SNK vs Capcom : Math of the Millenium
Fatal Fury
Gals fighter
Faselei! english version
Samurai Shodown
Last Blade

A silver color system and a clear one.

And I REALLY like it, I truly feel bad for its small library of games. I want to grab a few more, but my principal interest, another SNK vs Capcom (for 1 players) and the Rockman brawler are pretty expensive.

This is prob my fav handheld
SBSM!
N00b possesions: DMG GB, Play it loud! clear Gameboy, Pink Gameboy Color, Polar white GBA, Black GBA SP, Green GB Micro, Silver NGPC, Clear NGPC, Nasa (Nes clone), Snes, N64.

I'm actually saving up for a NGPC right now. Hopefully it'll be a worthwhile system for me even though I'm not into fighters.
