I did have windwaker, a cable and a gba, but I never bothered to use it. I tried it out with Sonic Adventure 1&2 and the first crash game, and it wasn't anything special. I always wanted to play FF:CC and that 4 player Zelda seams so good I wanted to buy 3 more gba + cables and I'd pay 3 people to play it with me.fastbilly1 wrote:GC connectivity worked on a lot of games with one Gameboy. The best two, to me atleast, are in Windwaker you used the Tingle Tuner and in RS3:Rebel Strike you used it to command your wingmen. Im working on an article on it for Racket.ZeroAX wrote:gc connectivity was a great idea that got underused. it didn't help that you needed 4 people with gbas and 4 freaking link cables. wifi would have solved that but nintendo gave up on the idea. the ereader is like selling dlc on cards, or small games via the internet. there's no use for it in this day and age.
So the DS and Wii finally outsold the Gameboy and NES

Yeah, Crystal Chronicles and Zelda: 4 Swords are both well worth the trouble if you can get 4 players. Fast set up 4 Swords at a convention once, and I'm pretty sure it was in constant use. As for Crystal Chronicles, we spent some time playing through it with my girlfriend and another buddy of ours. I wouldn't play it in single player, but 4 player was epic.

FFCC is ok by yourself, poor in two player, decent in three player, but AWESOME in fourplayer. As soon as I can get four tvs that are exactly the same itll be hooked up at all times.
Four Swords is one of the best multiplayer experiences of last gen in four player. It, 16 player Halo, and 16 player Socom, were the best multiplayer experiences on each console - to me atleast.
But to get back on point, yeah the GC/GBA cable was used for about 60 games. From Pacman Vs to Pokemon Channel. Some very poorly (ie only to show stats), some only for downloads (Preview Disc and store demos), and some just rocked it.
As for the ereader - it gave us new Mario 3 stages. Thats all I got.

I've been playing FFCC by myself, and quite enjoying it. Sadly, I don't know 3 people (besides on this forum) who would have an interest in playing with me.

Damn it, now I realize I have not beaten the 4 Swords on the GBA Link to the Past. Now I need four copies of that.
