Yeah I 100% agree. This forum is for showing off your game room and they are just doing that, showing off where they game. It may not be the cleanest room, but who cares. He does have an original Xbox so that could be considered retro.

I think retro ends in 1999; the year Nintendo stopped SNES production and the year the DC was released. Yes... the DC is still new as far as I'm concerned!

I good room cleaning would help this guy out, I think. Maybe he can do before/after shots?

Yeah, some of you guys are too mean.

I was considering posting pics of my setup but I'm sure as hell not doing it if I'm gonna be insulted. When someone posts their room they're putting themselves out there in a way, so it's mean to insult their room. Some of us aren't exceedingly rich so we can't all have super impressive rooms. I know the guy could'a cleaned, but still.. too harsh on him. No one asked you sour posters to respond.

I really was the fact that it's terribly messy and basically no effort was put into anything. Even if all you have is a few games, display them decently and don't leave them in a mess, and there's no reason to rag on you.

As time marches onward won't everything of this gaming generation (and prior) eventually be considered "retro"?

The room isn't the prettiest site but this user still seems to have a perfectly decent amount of games. Also props on seeming to be into Shin Megami Titles and also Bloody Roar.

As far as his setup, I see some ps1 games...retro enough for me, if he can deal with the horrible 3d era and load times *granted on a ps3 should be fine* he gets a retro vote.

Now to everyone saying that that he cant help not having alot of stuff...2 things:

1: sell that ps3 or the xbox and he could easily have 5 different consoles and games sitting there.

2: He could even goto burger king, grab some papertowels from the bathroom, wet them, and dust...money is no option to being clean or dirty...doesnt take 5,000$ to clean.

It was in my case. I showed a bit of ignorance about soldering, acted a little cocky, and you'd have thought that they were the Jews yelling for Christ to be crucified. Brutal. It was beyond reasonable.
