I am swing by my local Mexican place for lunch now since I got myself riled up for one.
And yes Ack, not only do they have that awesome Chicken and Rice soup, they have one of the best beef Tortas I have ever tasted. Though I may have just found a better place back near my house.
For Atlanta folks the Mexican place I go to often is Happy Burrito at Peachtree Industrial and Medlock Bridge - it is behind the shooting range. My other favorite Mexican place is Monterrey #5:aka Northlake it is on Lavista rd. I live in Tucker but on Buford Hwy near Shallowford there is a place called El Torta de Mexicana and one of my friends said it blew his mind more than the Cuban sandwich place we found. And ofcourse if you want something with fried chicken - El Pollo Loco at Clairmont and Buford Hwy. Ok Im done, I am not going to derail the topic much longer.

Moving from Chicago to Eastern NC seemed like moving to a different country to me. Seemed like they even spoke a different language.
I moved from Chicago to Seattle, which was a huge upheaval terrain-wise. But I personally don't care to travel. Even going back to Chicago to visit the family has a certain quality to it I don't like. About the only travel I don't mind is doing a weekend in Vegas.

I've lived in Alabama for 21 years, and before that, I lived in North Carolina. While I've been all over the east coast and overseas to Belgium and Germany, only twice have I traveled west of the Mississippi River, and one of those was on accident(we missed our turnoff in Mississippi, and had to cross the river to turn around. Only time I've been in Louisiana beyond flying over it to go to Texas).
About gas prices, I can totally relate. I hated my government even more after seeing how much Americans pay for gas. It's revolting. Here we pay like R$2,70/liter for gas - which, given the exchange rates as of now, is like US$6,40/gallon.
And we get low quality gas here, mixed with 20-24% of ethanol (a shameless subsidy to ethanol producers).
You think in 7 more years you will be home sick for Japan? Too bad we can't hit you up on Japanese games anymore.
I would like to say thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into finding several Racketboy members including myself hard to find items at great prices. Still waiting for my last shipment of SFC games, should arrive soon. I hope they werent sent back to sender
Enjoy being an American again, eat more then you can consume, and waste more then you need. No more politeness, you want to say it just say it. Drink gas like theres no tommorow. And enjoy the crappy over priced game stores.
