I'm 17, really into my car (99' Outback Sport) most people dont know that im actually into anime and retro gaming. I mountain bike and blade, wrestle, Im the only male cheerleader at our school. On top of that, I work at a bakery!

Current job: English ALT (instructor) at a couple elementary schools in Japan. Pay is decent and life is comfortable. I've been doing this job for just over 2 years now. Before working in Japan I worked at an elementary school after school program for 5 years during college. So I see a trend of working in the education field. It would be cool to do it for the rest of my life if I could. I really love getting extended paid holidays.

I'm 28 years old. I'm part of average age group for most Rackeboy forum members.

I used to be interested in studying Japanese and even graduated college with a bacelor's degree in it. Now it's more a life skill and a means to find me a better job which probably won't be this year. I'm kicking my self that I am still working on brushing up on all the stuff I forgot after not having to study it for so long.

My hobbies would be car tuning/repair, driving, collecting/playing games (mostly SEGA.) So I am most happy in the driver's seat or on my sofa at home.

My biggest (and most expensive) hobby is working on my cars. A '91 Nissan Skyline GT-R and a '03 Suzuki Wagon-R. Of course, I would be yelled at if I ever drove the Suzuki to work. When you work for a car company in Japan, you MUST own at least one car made by that company. It doesn't have to be brand new, it just has to be made by that company.

I only got into retro gaming within the past couple of years, but have always been into current gen gaming, whatever generation it may be. I learned a lot thru this site and its members since I joined.

I used to live in Maebashi back in 2004-5 when I studied abroad there. I wouldn't mind visiting Gunma one more time to see Mt. Akagi or Haruna lake. It would be cool to meet up with a fellow gear head. I'm just an amateur at fixing cars but not afraid to get dirty and work with somebody that knows what they're really doing.

Working at your job would be be cool.

I'm a full time student at NMIT studying Programming and IT Networking. I work part times on the weekends at a novelty gift store (Fart jokes and what not).

At PAX one of the events was an Urza's Block Sealed. I was doing really well until I made a massive play mistake at the end of game three in the top 4 and immediately lost to a savagely top decked Arc Lightning.

I started off teaching English, but I didn't have the patience for that. So I quit as soon as I got a job that wasn't related to English teaching. I didn't mind adults, but most of the students were kids and I cannot stand children. Then I got a job at an import/export company in Tokyo and worked there for a while. The company exported car parts to Italy. It was thru that job that I met Nissan people and they said if I was willing to move to Sendai, I could work for them. The Tokyo offices were full. I didn't mind leaving Tokyo. I was there for 5 years, so a change of environment was welcome. I love Tokyo, but it is good to live in other places, too. I drive down to Tokyo once a month anyway to visit
friends.

This job is alright, I am the only foreigner at this office so I get unwanted attention. People ask me dumb questions about the US. Since I have no problem blending in and I am mistaken for being Japanese 99% of the time, people don't find out until much later that I am a yank. I am moving back to the US soon. My parents want to retire and they want me to take over the family business back in San Francisco.

I am somewhat familiar with Maebashi. I have friends in Isesaki and Takasaki. We meet in Niigata sometimes.
