I just wanted to update that PayPal agreed with my claim and I got my money back. I never could get those HDLoader scammers to reply to me. I did report them to the US Postal Service and Canada Post. I also reported them to the Canadian's anti-fraud unit called RECOL ( http://www.recol.ca/ ). Hopefully other people will see this thread before they do any business with Syd Bolton or hdloader.org

If you've come across this thread while doing due diligence on hdloader.org--don't even bother buying a disc.

A modded memory card will do the trick and cost nothing.

Niode wrote:I always found Delicious Library far more superior than any of the windows cataloguing programs (I tried them all before trying Delicious Library). Unfortunately it's Mac only. However it's cheap and doesn't require a bar code scanner to work. You hold the barcode up to your integrated iSight (on a mac laptop) or your stand alone iSight. It has been coded specifically for use with the iSight the algorithm only works on that webcam and it's surprisingly accurate. Only a few times have I had it not read a barcode and that was either because I was holding it wrong or it was a bit dirty.
holy shit, i'm glad i read this thread two months late. checking this software out asap.
