TRON is back and 3D!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

The girl is Olivia Wilde.

I liek the look of it so far. Seems to me like it could turn into a great sequel.

I was really excited after the comicon trailer, not too much after this March 2010 trailer.

The dialog between flynn's kid and Alan was hokey. Yes, I know we're talking about tron. Hokey even for Tron.

Bottom line is that like nikfil, I'll be giving it a chance. The first movie meant way too much to me to ignore this new one.

Considering it's another hollywood rehash/remake/sequel I think it looks pretty cool. The trailer definitely has a different feel that anything I've seen disney crank out in the last 20 years.

The weird 80s guitar dude was weird.

And the tron chick looks hot.

Looks good, but I'm not sold on it yet.

Interesting how in an abandoned building whose phone has been disconnected for 25 years, the arcade cabinets are all still turned on, and covered.

Movie magic, poor writing; what's the difference?

Touche.

But you have to admit it looks really cool for a scene. I also think it is funny that several Arcade websites are figuring out what games they are based on size and shape. I spy an Asteroids and what looks like a Spy Hunter upright.

Oh, completely. Looks really sweet with the cabinets being covered, but seeing that soft glowing light from the screens. My other first thought was, "Oh man. Those cabs are going to have the hi scores permanently burned into the screen".

Both the Arcade upright and movie Tron came out in 1982, if I have my facts right. Does anyone know which came out first?

He did walk in using a flashlight, then go flip on a breaker in the back. :)

Oh yeah?

Well.... Um... Er...

There were way too many cobwebs on that breaker!

Who walks into an abandoned arcade with a flashlight other than a thief?

Why'd the guy leave the cabs plugged in?

If they wanted to cast Franco they should have!

Why is there only one TRON cab, and why does it have a neon light?

?

Also, his quarter didn't look authentic.

I got nuthin'.
