I hate everybody talking about this red ring of death mess.The warenty last 3 years which is more than enough to cover most people unless your like me and have had yours since release day. Microsoft is handleing the 360 very admirally in my opinion.

I think the biggest issue for a forum full of retrogamers is what happens to the 360 in 2015, when the warrenty is long expired. How many will have succumbed to the ravages of time? It isn't that hard to snag a cheap Atari or NES, but how about snagging a cheap 360 20 years down the line?

Point taken...I hope MS releases remodeled 360 sometime soon. It would be really nice not to be scared the system is going to blow up each time you turn it on.

GS's sources are speculating for a slim launch either this winter or early-mid next year.
