Any other Play N Trades in the area? You might try going by and talking to their owners to see how they handle stuff like this. Might be a policy the owners know of or something.

I'm just saying give him a chance to make it right first, if he doesn't then F em.

Why did you trade it in instead of selling it on ebay or something like that to begin with? Couldn't you made at least twice what they gave you? Normally those stores only give a quarter of what somethings really worth.

Before going any further with this, go in and try to sort it out. I mean I wouldn't start contacting corporate and stuff until you've gone in personally. If that fails. . . take it to the internet. Post your story about this play n trade on every game forum you know of.

Circuit City busted a guys car trying to install a stereo, he took it to an online forum, and all of a sudden it had 50 pages of responses. Suddenly circuit city was very helpful after all the bad publicity.

Another guy won an auction for a new bmw on ebay, but the dealer decided he didn't get enough over msrp for it and wouldn't sell it to the guy. He took it to a bmw forum and the guy's dealership got so much bad publicity he had to make it right.

Your right....I will go there first and talk to the guy...now that I am not as pissed off. After that I will post here again and let you guys know the out come.

Thats actually the main reason I posted here...I wanted people to just watch themselves and what happens where they buy and trade at. I will keep you guys posted.

I dont want to take someone to court over 40$...if anything I think PnT deserves to know what kind of asshole this guy is is all...
Well, it is his store.

Do take it up to corporate, the PnT franchise seems to be an understand company.

But its still rotten luck on that part. I know how store managers are, i did work for a PnT over a year ago, and the guy who owned the store, let just say he doesnt keep alot of people he hires on for too long, just the people he can boss around more. I was there for 3 weeks before he found me "unfit" to work there, which was BS...

I can't express how angry I would be if this happened to me. I hope this gets straightened out. :(
