popular anime and anime torrent sites?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Wait, the weeaboo movement is officially over? Thank God.

And "real anime"? This is "real anime," chief.

Hey now, being 17, with next to no disposable income (my largest paycheck ever was $170), basic cable and a shitty family PC makes it a bit difficult to get into the good/old stuff if it isn't still in print/price gouged or if it's not on Adult Swim or Sci-Fi.

I do have an OK/Tiny Anime collection (Posted in my game room thread), but I haven't ever had the chance to see some of the genre's defining classics.

EDIT: Plus look at the list on TDA and tell me Toonami didn't air some great anime:

EDIT 2: Sorry if it looks like I edited this a ton of times SQL's been acting up again and making me refresh the page.

All good titles! Glad to see I'm not the only one who prefers the original Dominion Tank Police!
Add to that Gunsmith Cats, Riding Bean, All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl NukuNuku, Akira, Bubblegum Crisis 2033, Project A-Ko, and a handfull of the Ghibli titles and you've got my all time favorites.

"It takes a real MAN to understand that bigger is better! Always has been and always will be!"
"The ULTIMATE detterent! - How can I compete with that?!?"
Also, very happy to hear about the weeaboos slowly dying. It takes us Canadians a bit of time to catch on to that kinda stuff (My town is small and there are still a few too many goths turning weeaboo lately so it might take awhile...)

Hey cool, other people know about this as well. I know Kim, the chick who runs this site because she's also involved in the Seattle Drum n Bass scene, which I've been into for a long time. She's cool. She's obsessed with looking like a cyborg and has a bunch of robotic tattoos to add to that. She also used to run around wearing a monacle. haha.
