Shame it plays like ass.
It is a shame. It didn't stop me from beating it, but I have never come closer to throwing my controller in frustration since I stopped wetting the bed.
I wish they'd translate Princess Crown - I couldn't even get out of the castle.
Rumor has it that the original source was lost; a fate that seems to have befallen far too many gems on the Saturn. The PSP port they released in Japan is literally just the GiriGiri emulator running an ISO of Princess Crown.

Odin Sphere had its problems, but I thought overall it was a very enjoyable game. It was a breath of fresh air in a stale JRPG world. I liked how it was different than everything else on the market. I picked Grimgrimoire but yet to play it yet maybe this week after all this 2D talk.
After playing with a DSI last night I have to say I like it alot. It is far superior to my standard DS in all ways except GBA slot. Some rectify this by having a Micro with them as well, but I am not that silly. Now if they can get an ebook reader and fix operas nagging issues (like loading gmail) itll be a buy for me. I love my GBA games but integrated internet and brighter screens are good selling points.

That aside, I doubt some of the faster Saturn code is all that portable.
