I remember when the Sega Menacer came out. I was so excited. Beyond the gimmick of four configurations, it really was much more advanced then the NES zapper (my only previous light gun). Damn shame that the 6 game cartridge that came with the Menacer was practically the only cart that could ever use my menacer for. I still have my Menacer hanging on my wall.

I'm surprised anyone would need to ask. Do you like trains? Do you like driving trains? Do you like driving train simulators? The Densha de GO! games give it an arcade feel, in that the performance is judged with points (or rather judged by taking away points for mistakes), but it's still a train simulator. Fun - but only for the most diverse gamer if not specifically into trains. If my controller collection isn't an indicator, I fall into the former.
I would have gotten the Wii collection if softmodding had existed around the time I decided to get it. At the time the import factor weighed in favor for the Dreamcast - plus Dreamcast is the closest system to where I would say I "collect" for it (I got Pop'n Music for Dreamcast over PSX just because it's Dreamcast - now knowing that an adapter won't let my Pop'n controller work for it).

how about the sega activator thing (did i get the name right? the ring controller which supposedly senses your movements, but not really).
also agreeing that ROB is missing along with the power glove, and the headset gun for NES.
I guess a wii balance board should be something to consider too.

As I already said, I couldn't care in the slightest if I'm missing R.O.B. or the Power Glove or any other piece of novelty that barely functions. Though I can't avoid being called a collector, my collection is driven out of utility. I will rarely buy a controller unless it has a useful function. Sure, R.O.B. can play Gyromite, but it serves to ruin an otherwise decent game that's much more easily playable with a standard NES pad. The ZXE-D robots are probably the only peripherals I own that barely have a function - but they do work as intended and are pretty damn cool as far as that intention is concerned. Even the Pachislo controller, my dumbest purchase, at least adds a level of immersion. R.O.B., the Power Glove, and the Sega Activator just make games even harder to play.
In other news, I purchased a few new controllers, so I'll upload some new pictures later. I'll include the controllers I forgot as well (which includes the Wii balance board). Maybe I'll get around to taking pictures of my standard controllers as well.

Umm..my sega activator box tells me that "every punch, kick and move is instantly transformed into game action on the screen!" So you must be wrong. Sega wouldn't lie to me.
And one of my R.O.Bs is a fully functional bathroom attendant, offering tasty mints in a bowl. If that isn't helpful, I don't know what is.
Seriously, amazing collection.

I need to get a ROB. I need one for the shelf. I doubt I will ever give him life though.
