Nah it can't be that bad. Or is it? First let's check the proof:

All right it sucks lol.

Sadly they are changing all good vampire books covers to look like Twilight. Poor, poor books.

Everyone knows that any REAL vampire worth it's salt would be able to at least stand up to a Belmont for a short while and have a few tricks up their sleeve. I suppose the Twilight vampires have sparkles, but what would sparkles accomplish when faced with the Vampire Killer whip?

I walked in my local video store to see their latest Anime sales. (Hoped for a cheap Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan)

The movie was on. In less than 5 minutes I was ENRAGED

For the love of god, I was thinking about asking the manager to shut it off. Until I had to save my younger brother from being killed by a rabid fangirl (he said the movie sucked)

For God's sake, what are they weak against? I hit one of those fans with a bottle of holy water and the cross, but nothing happened. My axes and throwing knives were useless, and even the stopwatch didn't help. I eventually used up all my hearts and they JUST KEPT COMING!!! Eventually I had to set fire to the local Blockbuster, and even while it was burning I could hear them screaming inside "The sparkles! Oh, the sparkles!"

I think I outta change my name to Belmont and take up vampire fangirl hunting. Get what I'm saying?

Such a great series. Methinks MadWorld was partially inspired by it.

Pipiru piru piru pipiru pi, Pipiru piru piru pipiru pi
Ok Ill stop.

I just couldnt stand the series. I have a younger cousin who was "dazzled" by them and stated how she thought Vampires were so sexy. But she left the room when I changed the channel to Buffy the Vampire Slayer...Sure its not Nosferatu but it is stupid fun for the first two seasons. Luckily she has finally seen that she was just wrapped up in trashy romance novels for teens.

The books are for love-deprived teens and middle-aged women (most likely the Christian-repressed kind, and teenagers are always repressed, right?). My own mother tried to convince me to read them, basing this off the fact that I've read Harry Potter.

I now use this Twilight fad as a radar- if you randomly assume I like Twilight because I'm a girl and I like to read, I WILL SHOVE BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA IN YOUR FACE

...oh, and screw Ann Rice, too. i like my vampires like I like my men- old, bloodthirsty, and NOT WHINY

When I first heard of the sparkles I thought they shot rainbows out of their hands. Sadly, if that were the case, it would be much, much, MUCH cooler.
