I really have no idea why developers are trying so hard on the ps3 and 360 to put out games that cost a ton of money with all the HD and hardwork, while the user base for the Wii is a lot larger AND the wii is easier to develop for AND the game prices are lower which means people are more likely to buy a $50 game over a $60 game? WHY?
I was really looking forward to new kinds of gameplay, I mean HD is nice but its not worth all the fuss. Its all about fun, its not a painting, the prettier the better.
Can you only imagine if the Wii was not kicking the crap out of Sony and Microsoft, and it was selling say, just as much as the 360? Would they even bother to make games for it? Can you imagine if it turned out to be third in sales? I bet people will use it for decor purposes.
It is sad when you realize that the GC had better games, given the games that was put out in its era and the competition with other titles. Like Zelda and RE series was beating the other consoles, even when it was third in line, today the Wii is tops at any game. Ok maybe Mario Galaxy only.
I think it is the fault of the people too. New fun games are not selling, NMH and the like, ports are scoring a million sales, also crapware is selling. Games with effort like Zak & Wiki are not selling. Sigh...
