some of my arcade sticks are here for the sole purpose of making it fair for people who come over to play games. fighters just aren't fun if i've got a stick and my opponent doesn't.

I too own several games that i've never even tested, let alone played. mostly fighters and shooters that i want in my collection but I already own on other systems.

I haven't played a final fantasy since the first one on NES.

I can't stand FPS games any more at all, probably since quake team fortress on PC and/or goldeneye on N64. actually, for the most part, i can't stand any 3d games, with the exception of hockey games and super monkey ball.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

I hardly finish any game that I start. I love playing them, but if I find that it becomes tedious at all, I will put it back in the drawer and move on. I won't sell or trade them either as I will "eventually get to it". I have a huge backlog because of this.

Sandbox type games (like the GTA series) are some of my favorite, but I always get distracted really easy and never do any of the missions even though I log 100 hours playing it. So they are never "finished" either.

There are several classic and popular games that I just haven't got around to playing. Some examples are: Any Zelda Game between 1 and Windwaker, Mario games past 3, Shadowrun (either of the 16-bit games), Pikmin2, Shenmue 2, Final Fantasy games (any of them), Devil May Cry's, I have only played God of War 1 (and I finished that!), Halo 2 & 3 (I only dabbled in the multiplayer on those). Probably a lot more than I can remember right now.

I gave my old Dreamcast away to my little Brother in laws in 2002 and had always regretted it. (especially since the youngest broke the lid off and smashed in the laser like a month later). I just recently got another one from here. (Thanks Flak Beard!)

I spend more time researching and reading about games more than playing them.

Far too many games i've bought and never played. Many of them are just sat there still in the cellophane.

I want all the Atlus games for PS2 despite not liking any of them. Yes, even Persona.

I built a powerful gaming rig for the latest PC games and spend most of my time using it on this message board and playing stupid flash games.

I still haven't completed MGS4. Despite being a huge fan of the series.

1. I hate most cutscenes and story's in games. One exception being Gears of War.

2. Hate most RPG's, and even the ones I like I barely ever finish. I think the only RPG I have finished is Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.

3. I don't think I have ever finished a zelda game, though I own Ocarania of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess,

4 Sword Adventures (my favorite) and the DX one on Gameboy.

5. The only Mario platformer I have finished is Super Mario World. (100% woot!)

6. I keep retro games I like and classics, even though I probably won't play them, like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. I might sell them later on though.

One thing I think is weird is how a lot of you people don't even play games you buy. When I buy a game, be it for the NES or Xbox 360, or whatever, I play them right away.

you are in for a treat. Lightgun games are pure fun. No quests no story just silly crap to shoot at. Plus, they are so simple in control that they are fun for non-gamers alike.

i am kind of in love with this thread. I didn't know there was so much gamer shame out there! I thought I was the only one!

Whew... At least I'm not the only one who (1.) owns more than 50 games which I have yet to touch; and (2.) has never played Ocarina of Time.

But here's probably my most shameful secret....

I play Madden.
