Heh heh... OK, I deserve some of this. I try not to be too bad about nitpicking grammar. I just want something that makes a rough approximation of readable english, rather than screen-puke.

The only reason I'm only a generation behind is because I have a Dreamcast. Once I have money to spare I may add an Xbox or PS2.

The current-gen doesn't interest me either. The games are too expensive and half of them are first-person shooters.

Also, with the shitty job I have, I can't afford a current gen system, games, online service subscription, hundreds of accessories and so on.

Emulation's been a good friend.

hey i have a wii... and only the 2 games that came with it... and i dont capitalize or punctuate very consistently (and i have a masters in history, where writing perfectly structured, 30 page papers was my hell for two years). i also use the ellipsis WAY to much. just seems easier to separate my sentences with three periods instead of one. just fessing up as i think being critical of one's self is important every now and then... and is hell supposed to be capitalized? if so, sorry once again.

I was always under the impression that hell is only capitalized in reference to the place. So, you would write "Go to Hell," or "Give 'em hell, boys." I could very easily be wrong, though.

I suppose capitalization of hell/Hell depends on your conceptualization of it. Is it a proper noun or a description?

The only games I'll pay full price for are any new Half-Life series game.

I bought HL2 for Xbox used for $10 and I was hooked. The story line is so good (IMO) that I would buy "Half-LIfe: Hunt for the Golden Turd" for $90. Of course, if the franchise pulled a "Sonic" I would abandon it faster than a crickets fart.
Systems: Atari 2600, Atari Jaguar, NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Genesis 3, Genesis 2, 32X, Sega CD (model 2), Saturn (model 1), Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox (Modded), Xbox 360, GameBoy, GBA SP, Game Gear, PSP... always adding more
