Bummer about the mushed box man! I'm still waiting for mine. My order got delayed because I had some identity theft problem between the time I preordered and now and even though I updated my Amazon account to the correct card, I neglected to change the payment method on my Devil Summoner preorder. I hope that doesn't screw me out of a plushie.

JT, did your plushie come loose in the package? I had to undo the tape on top of the box to reposition him on all my copies. They should have wired him down a little for shipping. Great game though, I can't wait to put more time into it.

Does anyone know if the first installment is a direct prequel (like the digital devil saga games)? Like, do I have to play that one to get this one? Unfortunatley, since this game was announced, the prices for devil summoner 1 have almost doubled, so I hoping to get this one done before I can afford the first.

My understanding is to think of it like Godfather 2 to The Godfather. Yes, if you don't know what happens in the first one you don't have all the backstory, but it can stand on its own just fine.

Yeah, my webcam takes the mirror image of a picture. I hadn't notice that until I took that picture. Weird.


Oh, and Corn619, I received mine with everything standing upright. They are a little wobbly though. A wire might have been a good idea.

can't decide if i want to buy this or punch out, I'm kind of leaning towards this cause its cheaper and will probably go up in value
