I've used my ages old PS2-USB converter on the PS3 and it worked fine. I bought the converter when the PS3 had a boomerang shaped controller and 18million ethernet ports and could also create world peace so I know for a fact that any PS2-USB converter will work with the PS3.

I've read that a lot of those converters have problems when it comes to guitar controllers, arcade sticks, etc.

On a side note, I may hug my 60GB PS3 when I get home! :o

I keep my PSX and PS2 hooked up, but I still enjoy having the 60GB verison of the PS3. In my mind it is the most complete version, which is what makes it the most worth having.

I really wished I would of picked up a PS3 when it first came out so I could use the backwards compatablity, but alas...I got mine last year and it does not have PS2 compatablity.
