PS2 Buzz Robo Jam $5.99 $1.35 Gamestop
Since I already have multiple sets of Buzz Controllers might as well get all the games when I find them inexpensive.

Gamestop destroyed most PS2 to disc only, nice to find a CIBs ever so often, especially at 85% off! :D

PS2 Mortal Kombat Tin Case Premium Edition - $10.00 BookOff
I have two of the four Tin Case designs, Johnny Cage is CIB except for the missing animation cell. The second tin case with Shao Kahn and Sindel with just the manual; I picked up for free when Gamestop could not find the game disc back in March 2012.

Cinder over on the Midway Boards has revealed some pertinent information on the distributions of the four Premium Edition versions of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for Sony's PlayStation 2. Unfortunately, it appears that you will not be able to walk into any store and find more than one version of the Premium Edition box as each is exclusive to a specific store.

1. Johnny Cage and Goro will be at EB Games / Gamestop stores.
2. Kano and Sonya will be at WalMart.
3. Shao Kahn and Sindel are at Best Buy.
4. Standard boxart Premium Edition will be at GameCrazy, typically attached to Hollywood Video movie rental stores.

The Premium Editions will retail for $49.99, while the standard PlayStation 2 version and the Xbox version will retail for $39.99.

The Premium Editions will feature a second 60-minute DVD, featuring a "History of Fatalities" and video featurettes of more than 50 characters, an autographed animation cell of the game's cover by Ed Boon and an arcade perfect emulation of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is currently scheduled for a simultaneous Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox release on October 9th, 2006, with a Nintendo Wii version slated for the First Quarter of 2007.

The bonus DVD disc has a matched to case Johnny Cage label, I think all have the same exact videos in the disc though. The game manuals have identical logos as in the standard edition Mortal Kombat. Disappointing neither has the bonus Animation Cell, ah well at least it comes with the bonus Kombat 3 game.

PS2 Sims 2 Pets $9.99 $2.25 Gamestop
Did not know the Pets could bring income into the Sims world. Train as service dogs and show animals.

Wii Deweys Adventure - $1.79 Gamestop
Always on the look for a different game when I spotted this made by the same team as Elebits! Put out by Konami, a Marble Madness/Monkey Ball approach in control with attack capabilities.

DVD Buckeroo Banzai - $3.95 Video Outlet
DVD Empire Falls - $3.00 Video Outlet

Buckeroo another cult film from the 80s. Not as good as Streets Of Fire but still a fun ride. Empire Falls another HBO Mini Series and again well done.

Wii Wireless Kama Nunchuck $7.19 Gamestop
My second purchase of this controller at Gamestop and as in before sealed new, sold as used! I prefer the Nycos for the non segmented smooth rotation of the stick.

Wii Fragile Dreams - 17.99 Gamestop
NEW GAME SOLD AS USED! Here is yet another XSeed game with a reversible cover. Game a different take of Resident Evil using animation; Flashlight Wiimote control very well done searching the dark rooms.

I really had to battle to get this game, an employee tried to save it for himself retagging as used! Posted in the Gamestop Evil Thread, a long winded story.

Note the dates on the new and used game stickers. Hidden in the drawer since Jan 2011? :?

Wii Shiren The Wanderer - $4.49 Gamestop
Another uncommon game found on the cheap CIB at Gamestop! This has been touted as a simplified Rouge type of game. Having played Sword Of Fargoal many years back with all its slow slug moves, I prefer this approach.

Sam Max Season Two $2.69 Gamestop
This at one time was an older PC Mouse controlled adventure game. The Wiimote really works well as a Mouse cursor on the big screen. The game has a lot of slapstick remarks in it, funny stuff.

Wii SNK Arcade - $11.00 BookOff
Never planned on getting this on the PS2 due to slow emulation and most same again side running fighters. The latest Together Retro Shock Troopers posts got my curiosity. Read that the Wii version has no slowdown, but still a so so set of games. Shock Troopers, Metal Slug and Baseball Stars 2 games make this collection worthwhile.

Wii Fragile Dreams reversible cover is displayed below.

Hit one more Gamestop and did pretty good on the sale. The best thing was finding a Six Axis only PS3 controller. Just wanted to have both versions of this. It is actually a little lighter also. If you look on the top it does not say Dualshock 3 on it. So for those of you who collect such things you may want to get one before long because when resellers figure this out I bet they will start to price accordingly. It was 34 bucks, but nice to have a variant.

I've been going to yard sales recently and haven't had any luck. The only video games I've found were X-Files on Playstation and a Sherlock Holmes game on 360. :?

I've been asking if they had any video game stuff but they say they don't. I'm still waiting for my big score.

I sure hope so. I finally got myself an NES for the first time and have been trying to find some cheap games to play but it's not working out. The local retro store has great prices but not a lot of good games. It's mostly piles of black box games or mediocre games like 15 copies of Skyhawk or Jaleco games. I bought The Guardian Legend for $5 the other week as a highlight.

I lost out on a decent NES lot on Craigslist the other week by literally a few minutes. The other guy got there before me because I took a wrong turn and snagged up everything of value. :x

Instead of expecting a big find and being disappointed most of the time, just search with an enthusiastic hope for the best so that decent finds are a positive and great finds are awesome.

Oh I have finds all the time. I just hate seeing insane finds like the Turbografx lot from Goodwill in this thread and the Finders Keepers section on Nintendoage where yesterday a guy found several NES and SNES console with 32 games for $25 or so. The best find I had money-wise was I think Fatal Fury: Mark of The Wolves for $1 at an antique mall which I sold for $60 and bought a black Dreamcast. :o

Although I did have that flea market score a few weeks back but I got banned from there so I can't ever go back. In total I bought about $300 worth of stuff for $120. That's how I got my NES for $5. I can't ever find things I want though so I just end up selling my finds for things I want so I guess it works out.

Almost forgot, box and insert for a Snes Mini free at my local retro store. They have done this for me before and really take good care of me.
