It was airing on Logo as part of their "Cocktails and Classics" program, where "Ugly Betty" alumnus Michael Urie and guests host a screening of a classic film, which is paired up with an alcoholic beverage.
I just got out of Free State of Jones (I'm saving Independence Day for next weekend as is good and proper). The trailer is a bit misleading; it makes you think this is a Civil War movie but it's actually a Civil War and Reconstruction movie, which changes the tone of things a bit. Still, it wasn't bad. It doesn't really have a major payoff, but at the same time that's a good thing given the story it's telling. To insert a Hollywood style payoff would have cheapened the story.

Last Thursday went to Finding Dory. Took my 4 year old, was her first movie in a theater and she really got into it. We have this new modern one in town recently that opened with huge leather seats that kick back and have feet up recliners and a monstrous screen in every one. They're always packed as they cost same/less (usually less for night) for showings too.
