me and SB had a great run tonight. Played for over an hour and a half without realizing it. We ran through the forest, killed the dragon, and got up to the boss in the caves but bailed cuz we felt too under-leveled.

Got myself up from LVL10 to LVL14. 8)

Have a quick question. Does anyone have a Dreamcast with the internal SD card mod installed? What all purposes does the SD card mod serve? Interested in picking one up from Assembler just to tinker with, but not sure what all you can do with it. Does it just allow you to boot iso's, homebrew, etc from it?

PS. Really feeling this PSO love.

I have an SD adapter - not the internal mod. Though I've never gotten around to successfully setting it up. But the gist is you install DreamOS on it which is like a desktop. From there you can access the SD card, VMU or disc - you can back up games to SD. You can play ISO's (and homebrew) from the SD. Seems nice, though I don't have a lot of use for it right now since I just play my physical games anyway.

Oh, thanks for the lowdown. The idea of being able to backup saves and stuff sounds convenient. I agree, I don't really play burned games on my DC unless when something like Volgarr comes along and doesn't get an official physical release. I may look into it. I think the internal kits are like $25, so it doesn't break the bank per say.
