What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

So yeah, my bank is punishing me for trying to keep on top of how much is in my account. Beautiful. I think it might be time to get an account somewhere else.
Is it your bank charging you though, or the other bank charging you for using their ATM and that is getting passed on down the chain?

Ticked and bleary: I know the people that keep up the grass want to get things done before it hits 100 outside, but 7:30 AM with the edgers and such? :x I had barely been asleep 3 hours at that point and the number of cars still parked outside meant that most other people hadn't left for work yet either. :(

PS3's have safe mode?
Yep.

Its possible for the PS3 to be completely unable to boot properly (like mine). There are apparently a few different circumstances where it can happen.

There's a very limited safe mode, which is basically just a menu, that allows you to do things like force a system update with a storage device (something I did try last night) or reformat the hard drive, among a couple of other less drastic options.

fuck my life, if i don't get the math class i need in fall and spring i'll have to take another semester in the summer or next fall. fuck.
UPDATE: I showed the math department head (whose class i had last spring) my high school transcripts and it turns out i already passed this class (math 130, algebra 2, Algebra CD) with an A. So I can keep my schedule YAY!

He even said Jon I don't even know why I'm doing this for you...I know you're smart. :)

Smile: Ah shit, she's doing something cute!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Ticked: My thermometer says it is 106.7 on my patio right now, which is about 3 feet to my right.

Texas is even darker than the last time I checked. Still terrible here even though I've been lucky enough to have a few short showers.

Smile: Mango sherbet helping me cool off a little.

Good lord, that heat.

I start getting uncomfortable with the heat right around 75-80, so of course I'm hating life when it hits the 90s. But 106? That's hell.

Fucking drought.

Ehh, a 106 is high here. I'm used to around a 100 though. Where I live we get rain decently often, but its always hot. I don't spend time in Houston like Hobie, so I can't comment on that.

Smiled: Got 72 Dollars at work last night. (3 hours of work FTW.)

Ticked: My knees are killing me, as is my back.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

My bedroom can get temperatures as high as 86° F. It's horrendous.
