Through a Gamecube or SNES?
Through a Gamecube:

Indigo Gamecube with an Indigo GB Player and component cables. I am, however using an SNES controller through a retro port.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

10pm-6am?

I work 11pm-8am, it's not really that bad at all. The hardest thing is adjusting your sleep schedule.
When I was in high school/college, I worked at Merck as a computer operator on the graveyard shift (11pm-7am) for 2 of the 4 summers that I worked there. Yes, it was tough. My problem was that I didn't go to sleep in the afternoon and then wake up for work. Instead, I would sleep after work which could be 5am or 8am. I would be drowsy behind the wheel and have to pull over to take a nap. Not a good thing to do.

The other issue with the graveyard shift was that almost nothing would be open at that hour except for Dunkin Donuts.

The last two summers, I worked 3-11pm so I had access to better food but no social life during the week.

Yeah, 2nd shift almost sounds worse than a 3rd shift to me. The interviewee did mention to me that it's bad for people to sleep directly after a night shift, but instead you should treat the morning like the afternoon/night and stay up until noon or something. Everyone is different but that was his suggestions.

Certainly would have been weird if I got that position though. Despite being a late night owl myself, I prefer to work/do school in the mornings and get things done early, then have the night to myself.

But yeah another reason I hope I can maybe find something normal and full time soon, or a second part time job to get about 40 hours in with this one, is that it'd more than likely fix my insomnia ASAP and for however long I do this work. I definitely have some major insomnia (cue me never falling asleep last night lol), but when I'm really busy like I was in 2009 working full time, it pretty much goes away completely. So definitely another benefit to me being busier... lol.

Happy Face:
Spending an hour inside of a hippie owned independent coffee shop after hitting up a smallish arcade. They had Tekken 3. Also beating Darius Gaiden for the Saturn.

UNhappy Face:
Getting a make-up bag from the guy who was supposed to send me River City Ransom (Downtown Neketsou Mitsubishi Honda Civic) for the original Game Boy. Still waiting for his reply.

Big Time Smile: My cat Midnight just came home.
Here's a pic I took months ago.

She has been missing since May. I honestly thought she was dead. I wonder how long she'll stay this time?

That's why the great outdoors is a concept that my cat is only scantly aware of.

Good for you! Wonder why cats wander off like that sometimes.
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Owning a cat is a common misconception. In reality the human exists for a cat's own desire.
