On my iPad. Would probably have been better on a Switch, but the game works remarkably well with swipe-and-tap controls.

Is there a way to look at my ps3 purchases and know which ones I have downloaded on my system and which ones are in the "cloud"?
with many purchases its hard to figure which you have and which you missed to download.

Sometimes it's just a case where you had to play it at the time, others is that the game just sucked, or was totally not what you were expecting.
Also, I'm slowly starting to believe that while Sony will hold strong for a while, most of the types of games I like will be on Nintendo consoles in the future.

I face that with OoT. For a game that got a perfect 10 and was proclaimed as best game ever I really didn't see whats the big deal. Its not bad, its just seems like your average triple A Nintendo title. Maybe it was the transform from 2D to 3D that WOWed them at the time. It felt a little bit like GTA in the Nintendo world.

I think there are people who play Nintendo games only, Nintendo some how turned into a "genre". I became a Nintendo hater and I really wanted them to lose the hardware market. I am sick of another Mario Kart and people getting super excited for the new Super Smash.
But if people are pleased and happy with the same games being remade forever and Nintendo makes money, please yourselves.
Also, The Switch is the only portable that gives modern gaming in portable format with physical buttons so they got that going for them. It also helps that developers are making games for the system like Doom and Dark Souls.

I'm sorry you're not a Nintendo fan any more, but I have to say, when viewed through the lens of the time they came out and in comparison to their contemporaries, Nintendo holds a standard of game-making that no other company has been able to match. Even Nintendo games I don't like are still generally high-quality productions with well-thought mechanics and level designs. There may have been better games out at the same time as some of Nintendo's releases, but no other company has so consistently held so high a standard across so many of its releases. And to be honest, if nobody was interested in Nintendo's re-releases they would stop making them. As both a developer and a publisher, Nintendo is pretty much unmatched. Now, as a hardware company they have a far more mixed records. Even some of their successes were built on some bizarre engineering compromises. But hopefully, with the Switch, Nintendo has finally managed to marry their own particular brand of hardware oddity with a fundamentally mainstream core (ARM/Tegra).

I don't necessarily mean the games Nintendo themselves create. Much of what I'm interested in games wise fits best in the 4th through 6th generations of consoles, which has seemed to be closely held to on Nintendo consoles by third party studios. Sony is doing well in that regard right now, but I'm not sure it will stay that way when the next Sony console comes out. That's all I'm saying. For example, if we got something like God Hand today, I'd expect it to come to the Switch rather than Xbox or PS.

That's unfortunate.
Unrelated to Mega Man X, I may have found the weirdest/greatest thing I've ever heard:
Ren, Lin and Luka sing Xanadu 2 OST.
Klepsydra is a really cool song to begin with, but is given some intriguing color with Vocaloids. Also, the Vocaloid rendition of Rilvan kind of reminds me of Nausicaa.

I was thinking about this the other day and figured out something... Nintendo is like Disneyland it might be boring to me now but it will always be exciting for the 6-14 year olds because it will be their first experience with Mario&Co. Also as a parent, I would buy the Nintendo console for my kids. Of course, Sony and Xbox don't seem to be interested too much in that market segment.
I am not sure why you seem to be impressed by Nintendo's game quality. Its basically the same game with different tweaks. Nintendo usually releases about just 1 game per IP per console (1 kart, 1 Mario, 1 Mario Party, 1 Super Smash) so it gives them a lot of time to concentrate on it. Let us not forget that Nintendo is the least risk taker here, they didn't release a new IP since probably Nintendo 64 other than Pikmin and Splatoon, not sure if Wii Sports is considered an IP. I will give them credit for 3D Metroid but even that is like 16 years old.
I feel other developers/publishers have had consistent quality to name a few T2, Bethesda, BioWare, and NaughtyDog.

I am not sure what you mean by games fit best in 4th to 6th generation of consoles, but if you mean like odd games that differ from the mainstream formula, like ilbleed on DC and Killer 7 on NGC, those are usually where ever the Japanese crowd are and in most cases that is the Nintendo console.

Yes, that's what I meant. Odd games such as those, or any game that may be considered "too Japanese". My PS4 is probably the system I own the most games for, but almost half are ports from the previous gen or Japanese games. If Sony keeps up with the Japanese stuff I might get a PS5, but whether or not that happens remains to be seen.

New Nintendo IPs on GameCube:
Animal Crossing (in the West anyway)
Battalion Wars
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Donkey Konga
Geist
Kirby Air Ride
Luigi’s Mansion
Mario Superstar Baseball
Metroid Prime
Pikmin
Star Fox Adventures
Super Mario Strikers
Wario World
Wario Ware
So, if you don’t arbitrarily only count a new character as a new IP, but instead count a new series, there were quite a few (ranging in quality). It’s fine if you don’t like Nintendo but it’s just your opinion. Objectively they have a high output of original, polished games. They’re known for their big hitters but I don’t recall a single generation where Nintendo didn’t release several games that were entirely new experiences as well.

I can't believe no articles or reviews mention this at all. The Switch version sounds pretty bad too.
I should mention, this is literally like the FIRST time I've ever been really bothered by input lag. It's that bad.
