He did kind of have a point, though. Proper application of sufficient explosives IS the solution to any problem. We just tend to come to a point and say "we don't want to use more explosives" and so fall short of the solution.

You have a point. Blowing the entire pond up probably would have worked.
Although that would have blown the dam up we were trying to save as well.
But I guess if there was no pond, there would have been no need for the dam either.

So if we exploded the entire planet, all problems would be solved?

All of ours sure would be.

I cannot think of a single problem that would exist once the planet was all blowed-up.

A fast update on that RFG submission dump, I got a PM from Matt over there, who said the years they use for GOG are not that of the game's release year, rather the year that the game first arrived on GOG. Good to know! About half of my submissions are live on the site now, and I love the little contributor credit. So check out the list I threw up last night on this thread and see if you can add some new ones!

This is what happens when I am working on a commission for my wife in the garage while watching tv:

The tripod will be flipped over ontop of a pillar when everything gets actually glued in, not just temporarily. It is a pretty close fit:

for being made out of random crap in my garage - small pc, slide viewer, knob from oven, altoid smalls tin, hairbrush, misc knob, top of carb cleaner, joystick part, contact cleaner top, tabletop tripod, and two random metal washers

Yeah, the date aspect is a bit confusing as the GOG.com website itself uses the
original dates.
When I add a GOG.com game I usually google it first. You can find a GOG.com press release dating the year it was added to the website. Even easier than that (though not foolproof I suppose) the date given to the oldest review is likely from the same year the game was added.
Now Steam typically only uses the date the game appeared on their website, rather than original release date. For instance,
Shock Troopers 2nd Squad has today's date rather than 1997. That said, I think some publishers were unaware that this is how it's done, as I have found some Steam games with release dates like "1984."

I realize I posted this in the wrong "Random" thread. All my RFG submissions are now live on the site, I updated on the Random Gaming Thoughts thread.
