Hugest frown: Elliot Rodgers and his demented killing spree.

Just watched part of the video on that....kinda sad with his reasoning on the matter that he wanted to do it. Don't understand how rejection should translate to murder spree. Seriously I'm 19 going on 20 but you don't see me blaming women for not being attracted to me... -_-pepharytheworm wrote:Hugest frown: Elliot Rodgers and his demented killing spree.

he was a misogynist who genuinely saw women as less than human. He saw 'sex' as currency and felt it was owed to him.
The scariest shit is that none of the disgusting stuff in his manifesto is anything I haven't seen elsewhere. There's entire online communities built around fucked up ideas like that.
(oh and as a bit of icing on the shit cake he was a blatant racist who was angry that 'inferior black men' were able to get 'white women' and he couldn't)

Everytime I start to have hope that things are changing, something like this comes along and makes me despise being a male. But the scarist thing is the people defending him like he was jusified or a hero even.AppleQueso wrote:he was a misogynist who genuinely saw women as less than human. Holy shit, I'm watching this video and he's not living on this planet. The reason no one was interested in him is because he's a massive creeper.
See, this would be a good time to tap into that "NSA is spying on all of us" system. Everyone supporting this we could backtrace and ship off to Gitmo and make the country a better place. But the scarist thing is the people defending him like he was jusified or a hero even.

I saw someone suggest that the FBI could probably catch way more murderers if they started profiling youtube comments instead of race.MrPopo wrote:Holy shit, I'm watching this video and he's not living on this planet. The reason no one was interested in him is because he's a massive creeper.

It's not something I actively follow but it seems like the whole Men's Rights/"Nice Guy"/neckbeard "movement" has gone from pitiful to absolutely fucking terrifying in the last few years.AppleQueso wrote:he was a misogynist who genuinely saw women as less than human. The SPLC actually has a lot of the 'manosphere' listed as hate groups.BoneSnapDeez wrote:It's not something I actively follow but it seems like the whole Men's Rights/"Nice Guy"/neckbeard "movement" has gone from pitiful to absolutely fucking terrifying in the last few years.AppleQueso wrote:he was a misogynist who genuinely saw women as less than human. Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
So, details. Panic disorder. It's been a long time coming but it has finally come to a head in the last two weeks. I had an episode whilst driving a few weeks ago. Saturday night I had an episode that also triggered pretty bad heart palpitations which caused even more anxiety obviously. Was luckily in company and got rushed to the hospital. While there my heart kept shooting from about 70BPM to 130 over and over in an unending cycle of panic attacks. Couldn't feel hands or feet or stand, entire body tingling and dizzy. Pumped me full of anti-anxiety meds, monitored me for 4 or so hours and got dismissed.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Spent 5 hours in the hospital.
Details tomorrow.
Was sent home under orders to take it easy, especially until I get anti-anxiety meds Tuesday. Even today, I had a minor attack and been having issues with it.
It seems so stupid but its almost completely involuntary. Or at least it seems to be.
Older. Not wiser.

Oh yikes, that must've been scary. I had a good friend once have a full blown panic attack on my porch. That was pretty terrifying. I remember his dad tried to claim he was faking it and when it turned out he wasn't he then rambled on about demonic posession... Blech.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:So, details. Panic disorder. Glad to hear you're okay though.
