Again, your prerogative. The rest of the world has other opinions.. Moral equivalency is also applicable when two parties have the same means of initiating aggression. This doesn't apply to places like Palestine and Tibet. But such conflicts can be resolved, as even though human conflict is perpetual it has dynamics that bring about periods of war and peace.

The Subway Fresh Take Hotline doesn't seem so fresh.
You give someone money and their true character will shine. Will Disney cut ties with Subway? No. I can't see that happening. But recent news shows that Subway did know that Jared had pedophile tendencies. And Christ, I'm already cringing at the "Six inch" and "Footlong" jokes.
No way could I pay for sex and find it arousing. I'll never understand the world's oldest profession. And the argument of "All women are whores, as you have to buy them dinner, take them out to movies, etc..." screw that noise. Girls are just like guys and attraction is instantaneous.
But eww. Paying to have sex with a kid. Gross. Paying to have sex in any circumstance is gross.
Strippers on the other hand...

That makes the least sense of all. You're paying to get blue balls. At least with porn you are in the comfort of your own home/hotel room and can relieve yourself.Luke wrote:Strippers on the other hand...

Are strippers attractive? Yes. Usually. Do they get me aroused? No.
On the night of my bachelor party I had a stripper lick her fingers, then she fingered herself and then wiped her fingers on my lips. My exact words were "I'm paying you to dance".
I can definitely enjoy a seductress without having to pop a boner. It doesn't take much to get me turned on, but I am picky. Yes, in person the female body is so much more impressive, but a stripper will always be hard pressed to get a physical reaction from me. Doesn't matter how cute you may be, I have to have "a thing" for you to get me excited.
tldr: Strippers don't make my Punjab fly planes.

So why are you even watching strippers if you don't get aroused? If it's just for the art of dancing nude there are plenty of shows not in stripclubs that celebrate the beauty of the human body in the form of expressive dance.Luke wrote:No, no no.MrPopo wrote:That makes the least sense of all. Because it's fun entertainment. Not saying there is something wrong with dudes getting aroused by a stripper, but I've known strippers since I was in high school and they just don't "do it" for me.pepharytheworm wrote: So why are you even watching strippers if you don't get aroused?
Huge difference between " I really want to fuck her" and "I'd pay to fuck her". Sorry for the language, but that's the crux of it.
If I go to a strip club or have a stripper perform at my home it's because it sets a mood for a pinch of debauchery. And what I want to see a stripper do is work the crowd, not strip. I know it's a common joke about when you say a gal has "personality" it means she's likely fat or ugly, but a stripper with a great personality flips the coin into the stratosphere. And the majority of strippers have incredible personalities if you take a second to talk to them. It's not all about erect nipples grazing against your face and lips.
Who doesn't want to play a round or two of poker with a cute lady who is nearly butt naked? High heels and boobs? They're just things. No need to get aroused.

I don't know what is more sad.
That a crazy man is willing to destroy his country in order to hold on to power a bit longer? (though Greece suffers the same fate, fuck our byzantine heritage).
That NATO is willing to diss the people who have been the most democratic and western oriented force against IS over the past 2 years? (just remember how many christian and other minorities the Kurds protected from IS).
That in modern times we call rebels terrorists?
This is all just sad and disgusting, though I know it's real-politik.
I am just afraid of what will happen in the future, since the chaos in now spreading into Turkey. Sad for Turks but I think this will REALLY hurt their country and push them back maybe even an entire decase.

Re: So the whole world is kind of falling apart...
My time in Turkey convinced me that they have no business being NATO members. The "enemies" of Turkey that we were told to be aware of seemed to have better motives than the Turks, Erdogan and his policies were constantly causing protests in town, and the locals didn't appreciate our presence.
Erdogan is primarily responsible for the problems, I think. He's constantly trying to move away from the European stylings that Ataturk used to make Turkey better than the surrounding nations, towards a more tight-fisted Islamic dictatorship. Yet the people keep voting him back in year after year.
He made multiple Iran-style efforts to censor the internet while I was there, first banning Twitter, then Youtube. There were even talks of creating a Turkey-exclusive internet at one point, so as to make Turkey essentially an internet island.
Now I hear the Turks are using ISIS as an excuse to strike against the Kurds. Didn't we impose a no-fly zone over northern Iraq when they tried to do the same? And didn't we first airdrop supplies to the Kurds, and then later air evac some of them? Yet Turkey gets a free pass because they're part of the club.
We really need to cut Turkey loose and bring Poland and some of the other Eastern European nations in. They actually want to host our bases, our foreign policies complement each other, and we have good popularity ratings with the people.
What's the difference between Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Iran?
Over-simplified, I'm sure, but still.

In a mad world that is kind of falling apart, we need more talk about strippers.
