Hello!
My name is Cara, I’m 20, and I am Jinx’s significant other. I like to draw and I’m pretty okay at it. I also like to play with makeup, and do some crazy shit with it sometimes.
I was raised around Nintendo, but was never really ‘allowed’ to play. I have an older brother that would hog the systems all the time so I was mostly the kid that would play outside. However, I would watch my brother play sometimes, and started to favor the Zelda series at a young age. One of the first pictures of a person I drew was Princess Zelda (on the wall of my childhood bedroom, much to my mothers dismay). I also watched my brother play some of the Metroid series as well. The system I remember playing most was the SNES, and Yoshi’s Safari was my favorite game. I kicked ass with my super scope.
I recently started to get back into the gaming after Jinx showed me his Dreamcast that he had. I didn’t get the chance to play it, for reasons he has already stated, but the new system made me curious. Now that I’m a grown ass adult my big brother can’t tell me that ‘girls don’t play video games’ anymore. I’m looking forward to finishing Super Mario DDR for the Game Cube, and owning Jinx at various games. . . once I get used to the sega/dreamcast controllers.

Hey, my name is John I'm 22 and I'm from Canada. I was into retro gaming heavily about 5 years ago until my entire game collection was stolen, though looking back my collection wasn't that big. I just decided to get back into collecting again after getting ahold of a few consoles.

Hello people, I'm new to this site. And i want to start a new collection soon and i think this forum will help me. My favorite system would have to be super nintendo. i used to own a NES, Genesis, SNES, Dreamcast, PS1, and Ps2. Now i only own PS3. i don't know what happen to all my old consoles, i was to young to even realize to collect them. So yeah, this is a little background of me.

Hi everyone my name is Richard.
I am 22 years old.
I am from Slovakia (this country is in middle of europe and No there is not a war). When I was child I had Super nintendo with only one game (Street Fighter) and sometimes rent sega mega drive2 for 2-3times from gameshop.
Now when I have part-time job and some free euros I want buy some old consoles from my childhood dreams like GC,SNES,DC,N64.
According to me I am collector more then gamer because searching, buying and repairing is for me more fun than playing
...
But in my country is little sad situation because there are no shops with old games and consoles and on internet there is for example one SNES for 100$ without shipping.
Therefore I have only one poor gamecube and nintendo Dsi with broken R4 card.
My collection is just on beginning.
This is all about me and my retro gaming life.

Hi Guys!
First I want to say thnx to RetroVision for inviting me to this site, I am 30 from Illinois, I collect many systems and do not have a favorite company. My oldest system I own is a Bally astrocade with 13 games!, I also have a ton of PS1 games and NES. recently acquired over 20 really good N64 loose games for next to nothing. I am building a mancave basement to display everything.
