Great deal I think but Damn they both are heavy!

Definitely a good deal, comparing it to what I paid for mine it's just as good of a deal. Let me guess a goodwill deal? I'm almost certain if they had those they'd probably list it at that price...

Actually I got these on my local classifieds. At goodwill they have some televisions but don't have any of these Sony models.

Very nice, you have both the HD and Non HD tubes! Any reason why you bought both styles; was it for Lightgun support on the SD and newer consoles for the HD CRT?

Exactly for light gun support plus I like how the older consoles look on these Sony sd tv's. The other one I'll hook up my newer consoles. :)

I'm shocked, since some of the goodwills have decent tvs....especially ones like the one that's in my room now. Some people donate some decent stuff and works out great for people like me...but I do have to admit that is a great looking set and wouldn't mind having a sony myself but I'm kinda happy with my sanyo....(still need one for my hd stuff though but that can wait...0

The Sanyo you picked up and the Sony's token picked up are not in the same ballpark.

Goodwill:

Space Invaders Keychain (Carabiner Edition) NIB: $.50 cents

PS1

Croc Legend of the Gobbos
Spyro the Dragon
Pac-Man World

Those were $1.99 total.

today, Ikaruga showed up (early!), Ultimate Spider-Man (PS2) and a "complete" Tobal no 1 for PSX but instead of the FF VII demo disc that i recall specifically asking the seller about, ive got a manual & disc for Tactics in there. no idea what that's about.

Chase HQ (saturn) should be here monday at least.

Maybe give a couple of you Retro Consoles a try on the HD CRT TV, especially the ones that only have go up to SVideo. You might be surprised how well they look, don't let the assumed SD scanline requirement for retro consoles as the best picture.

Please post a comparison since you have the luxury of both premium Trinitron tube TVs.

A new flea market just opened yesterday but I overslept so I'm going in 7 hours. Hopefully I can get as lucky as I did at the last one. :P

I sold a few of the n64 controllers for over $100 so I made my money back on everything almost immediately. I had no idea the black controller was worth $30 on Amazon. I really wanted to keep them so I put them up for $30 in the rare chance someone would buy them, I'd let them go at that price and the guy bought two of them from me! That's $60 for a $4 investment.

mas wrote:I went to savers just for the hell of it to try to find a wii guitar for guitar hero and I found one of those famiclones that looks like a playstation. Its called the virtual interactive console or something of that matter. 2 controllers and a gun and a multicart for 2.99.
The best part of the deal was when I got home to test it. It had the usual clone games like Mario, contra, most of the black label nes games, galaga etc. But as I looked thru this these games I never seen on those clone crap and they look and sound pretty good.
super Mario 3
castlevania
contra
super contra w/30 lives awesome
dr. Mario
excitebike
ms. pacman tengen version
paperboy
flinstones dinosaur peak( I saved 400.00)
double dribble
double dragon 1 and 2
So far for that price its well worth the 3.00 especially since I don't collect anymore and it does play famicom games. Not a bad day for me. I will look more into it but so far great games and It says 80000 games but really maybe 100 or so.

I have a bunch of those multi famicom carts with games like chip n Dale 2, bubble bobble part 2 etc. It's always nice to see those lol.
