When I go to the beach, it's on a lake. The nearest beach from here is roughly 12 hours away

I prefer the mountains that are only 8 hours away.

See, I don't hate Myrtle Beach because of the tourist trap thing. I hate it because it's trashy—literally and figuratively.

 Feeling pretty good after a night in my own bed.

:| Got rejected on a few of the jobs I applied for pretty immediately. I need a job for customer service experience but I need customer service experience to get these jobs.

^Dude, that shit kills me; I feel your pain. I see all these postings for entry-level positions that are like "3-5 years X experience required." How the hell are you supposed to get the experience if you can't even step on the bottom rung of the ladder?

I LOVE THE THE BEACH.

Maine has one tourist-y / "white trash" beach (Old Orchard), which I love. Though it has gone down in recent years. One arcade was torn down to make room for these terribly gaudy waterfront condos.

Most other oceanfront areas are a lot classier and the accommodations pricier.

I could never live in a state that doesn't border the ocean.

Now currently I live in a lakes region and the tourists are starting to pour in. Makes parking "downtown" quite a pain in the assicle.

:D Breakfast with the family. It's been a while since we all found time to sit down together and eat.
I think we have your answer, and a good one at that.

I swear the more time I spend with my wife the more fun I have. Sure, "Rainbows and Unicorns and such" but to be 100% honest, spending time with her makes my life increasingly better with every day. And not for a second do I not realize what a blessing she has been (even when she is a complete idiot).

Yup.

And it's an educational thingy. I don't know any thing Good about the place. I know about the crappy stuff, haven't found anything I would be interested in visiting.

No point in driving five hours for miniature golf and carnival rides.

:D Glad this week is over, it was a looong one.

:? Got an idea that I'm just going to spill my guts to a certain girl, though I don't know if I can do it. Its one thing knowing I don't have a chance, its a whole 'nother to be told though.

Like most teenagers, you are waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy over-thinking this. If you want to ask a girl out on a date, just do it. Say, "Hey! I'm going to see Godzilla this weekend, and I have an extra ticket. Do you want to go with me?" If she accepts, great! If she declines, just ask someone else . "Spilling your guts to a certain girl" might seem a little weird, however, and might dissuade her from going out with you. (Just imagine how you would feel if someone did it to you.)

I'll second this. That impulse you have to pour out your heart and say how much you love her and how she makes your world a better place is just going to freak her out. Ask her on a date, give her a compliment, if it goes well ask her out on another date. As time goes on you'll say more nice things to her and she'll say nice things to you and you'll have what you want.

Well thinking on it, I think there's a flea market down there. If I go down there during july 4th week I'm half tempted to see if that gives me a reason to go there more often. I don't think I've looked around enough to see if anyone was selling off any games, but I'm sure if I looked there might be something worth mentioning about going there ha ha
