What was the last movie you've seen?

Man, I love Sucker Punch. This is the third time I've watched it and still think it's awesome. Emily Browning, Jena Malone and Abbie Cornish are all awesome in it. And here's some stuff that's in it: a samurai sword fight, zombie Nazis, a mech, dragons!, Emily Browning singing the Pixies and The Eurythmics and The Smiths, a Bjork song, robots, and... ugh. It's one of those movies that feels like an insane fever dream. There's probably more music than dialogue. It was panned by critics for playing out like a video game rather than a movie. Maybe that's what I enjoy so much about it.

Michi: Did I ever convince you to watch this? If you haven't yet, you really should. I feel like I know when you'll like a movie. Hey, I was right about I Know Who Killed Me, wasn't I?

Isn't the entire movie actually an insane fever dream?

Alright. You've convinced me. Should I come across it, I will keep an open mind....

Not too open, though. Maybe just a crack, but open nonetheless.

I was about to say no, but then I re-checked my movies, and lo, there lies the extended cut upon my shelf - unopened. So I haven't watched it, but I obviously bought it, and I'm sure I can place whatever reasons I had for doing so squarely on your shoulders

I may have to take a breather from FE: Birthright this weekend and give it a go.

hahaha, I am pretty sure it was my fault. I think I bugged you about it right after I watched it the first time.

Great movie! Sure its just mindless action, but a fun ride. Oh crap, did not know about the extended version on Bluray, have the DVD version. According to a customer review at Amazon, quite a bit of additional footage. Need to snag that combo pack!

Found an in depth comparison:

Hmm you guys are making me want to watch Sucker Punch now.

I was so annoyed by Watchmen and therefore Zack Snyder, that I ended up skipping Sucker Punch, but maybe I shouldn't have.

Sucker Punch is the only movie I've seen by him. EDIT: No it's not - I saw the Dawn Of The Dead remake and thought it was terrible.

300 looked boring. I don't know anything about the Watchmen comic, so the movie didn't interest me.

Sucker Punch is friggin' awesome though.

I think Suicide Squad looks good, too. Margot Robbie as Harley helps.
