Goodwill or not, I think if you disassemble any CRT and sell its parts you will gain more than $13. I did a quick Ebay(US) search and VCRs are bouncing from $20-$40 usually, so a TV for $13 is pretty decent. Note you can still use a TV for ps3/360 but a VCR hardly has any use unless you collect VHS.

but the best now goes to the guy who said he got a boxed gamecube with 2 XBOXes and a PSX for $5... they might as well gave it out for free.

Yeah true(even though I had two options and went with the second that had no vhs player since it was useless for me)...

On another note I picked these up:

Got the zelda for 20 so not much of a deal there but the others might be a nice deal to some extent but the others seemed like a good one, but I really wanted the zelda so I couldn't pass it up....

Nice grabs, darxsparx. Adventures of Lolo and its sequels are some of the best games on the NES.

(I saw you at the store this morning; if I had know it was you, I would have said hello. I picked up Space Invaders (GBA) and Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA), BTW.)

EDIT: I also would have recommended somethign better than Tom & Jerry (SNES), but I cannot recommend anythign better than Super Mario World or LOZ: Link's Awakening DX. Those games are the best, and I hope that you enjoy them.

Oh that was you in that coat this morning? Wow XD yeah too bad that store is going to get a little bit too far come may(I overheard that with a guy that brought a computer in complaining even though it was his fault for not updating anti virus on it). Going up to that store especially when they move is going to be a once a month thing though...I was half tempted to grab that dkc game but I settled for the things I got...even though I wish I had another composite cable so I could see why this switcher I picked up for 5 didn't want to work....the s video side of it didn't work so I'm guessing if you put in composite it has to be a composite cable for out :-\ but I figured since we had a s-video cable it might work

Tie, dark overcoat, closely-cropped hair, rugged good looks...That was me!

I am also upset about the move. Right now, the store is minutes from my office, making it easy for me to duck in before work or during lunch. After the move, it will be much further away, and I will not be able to visit nearly as often. :? (On the bright side my finances should be in better shape, however. )

Ha ha, same here, but that store is already far away since I live on the border of union county anyways, but I wanted a game or two for the ness and ended up picking up more than I bargained for...if I had picked up everything I wanted i think I would of been out at least 100...they had a lot of stuff i wanted and wished I would've gotten but I settled for less and didn't get ninja gaiden either...they had at least 20-50 games I would've loved to of picked up XD

It really has an amazing selection, and I could have dropped $100+ there this morning. I really have to watch my self there and try to limit my vists (which is really hard since it is so close to my office).

Probably more or less why I tried to limit what games I got...I would've loved to get minish cap though...I miss that game and i know good and well that was one of the many games over the past 10 years that i've either lost or sold stupidly. But that game in particular I'm almost certain i lost it...Ah well maybe over the summer I'll be able to pick it up if they still have it when they move XD
