This is EPIC! Good luck with this. The crazy thing is that the PS3 is suddenly getting so much JRPG love! Kinda like the PS2 did, late in its life. It's gonna take work to get all of the exclusives. But so well worth it.

Yeah, whenever I look at my list to collect it seems I find at least half seems like heavy jrpg's, which really makes this a long term quest because, I don't just want to own them all. I want to play AND complete them all.

You should try to hurry though dude. The more time that passes, the more those JRPG's are going to cost. It's the way this market works when it comes to those types of games. I've been doing something similar to you in my collection, and I find that I have to basically pre-order the RPG's just to get them. Otherwise they shoot up over $100 sometimes, within a month of release. I'm trying to anticipate the next "Xenosaga" or "Chrono Trigger." The only thing I can think of is to buy them all right when they come out. LOL.

One nice thing is most Pawns that do flat rate pricing should be dropping their prices on last gen games over the next year or two.

It doesn't make financial sense to grab JRPGs at launch unless it's implied that there will be a low print run - Xenoblade, Class of Heroes 2, Drakengard 3, etc... Most everything else can wait.

Games like Lightning Returns and Dark Souls II will be dirt cheap next year.

Some games had second print runs too - Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel, Dragon Quest V, and Radiant Historia come to mind.

I basically try to avoid launch prices at all costs.

Well, what do you know? There is this little Pawn Shop by my house that I go to once a month or so to check out old games. They've gotten wise in the past 6 months and started price checking their games against ebay. I usually don't buy those games. Instead they have a shelf of old PS2 and XBox games that are $3 a pop.

Thing is, if you buy more than 5 games, they'll give them to you for $2 a piece. Not too bad.

Well.... someone must have been sleeping on the job today when they put out a handful of new games. And what luck that I just happened to have a few extra minutes after work to swing by and have a look.

Both are complete in box, and are near mint. And I didn't even have to buy 5 games, they still gave them to me for $2 a piece. Needless to say, I was very grateful.

 Wow! Love Conker, still on a search of the Dinosaur game. No idea why it commands such high prices. From what I have read a low print run. I wonder if the "Park Sims" game is any good?

This arrived today, $14 postage from EB.

The case came with the bottom all smashed, so annoying. I will pop into a store with the pieces and receipt and ask if they have a spare case i can have.
