Even though I said I would stop buying games for a while I did pick up the gold classic controller for the and the thing is brand new for 17.00 at gamestop. Went home and I gave them my black classic controller and got my money back. I said this at another thread but it was a swap I think lol.

Are you saying that you bought a gold controller, then went back to the store and returned a black controller for a refund on the gold controller?

On the way back from a weekend at the lake we found a hole in the wall game shop that had awesome prices, and a retrogamer owner who knew his stuff and was just cool to talk to. From him I picked up:
1943 - NES
Rampart - NES
Quaddro 4 in 1 Adventure - NES
Super Return of the Jedi - SNES
Zelda Phantom Hourglass preorder cel
For around $40.

He priced everything off of VGPC or Ebay completed and was willing to make deals. The store is Called Game ON, and I will be stopping everytime I travel through Shelbyville TN.

Then we stopped at one of my wife's mother's friend's houses to pick up some scrap and she gave me two boxes of her late husbands electronics. Ive not dived through them completely but so far I have found:
N64 - all cables and jumper pack
Grey N64 controller with a good stick
Atomic Purple N64 controller with a good stick
Crusin World - N64
Namco Museum - N64
Rogue Squadron - N64
Unknown Dell PDA base station
Unknown Dell PDA fold out keyboard
Sanyo VCR
Various power adapters
And the best part - A CH Products USB Rudder pedal set.

All for about 30 minutes of hauling of scrap metal for her. I still have a box to go through so who knows what other mysteries are to be found.

There have been several posts of CRT TVs of various sizes for free.

What do you expect? It's a tv from goodwill...now i just need to find a remote for it though...if I could get the universal rca remote to work with it, then that would make this even sweeter  especially because I've no clue how to get my nes to show up on it without one. Though i would love to in the future to find a trinitron instead to play this stuff on....

There is a CRT over at Restore(a shop ran by habitat for humanity) that I am drooling over right now :P. It is probably a little over 20" and it has a metal trim around the front that is Dukes of Hazard Orange. Paint is aged but that makes it look all the more awesome.

They have 7-15 CRT TVs at any time ranging from $10-20 :P.

One I liked looked a little bit like this one just larger and without nobs. Wish I had a better phone so I could have snapped a shot still pimping my Tracphone from 2008ish since I hardly use it :P.

I have two CRTs, though only one is hooked up and the other is resting in the basement until we move and I have more space. My WEGA was $20-something and the Sanyo (?) with built-in DVD/VCR was $0.

There's a Christian thrift store about and hour and a half north of me with about 50 CRTs in stock at any given time. It's insane. They actually display some of them outside because I think they're overflowing the store. Sometimes I think I should snag one of those really old ones, with the knobs and whatnot.

I want a console TV that I can weatherproof and outfit with an LCD monitor and a HTPC inside of it, so I can use it on my screen porch. Sadly two of the last three I found had 24 inch CRTs - so no readily available monitor replacement, and the other was just too damn heavy. It was from the 50s, had a 13inch black and white crt, two giant speakers, a record player, and weighed about 300 pounds. I just could not justify it.

Yeah I did that. I asked my friend who works at gamestop if I can do that and he said it was fine.
