hell yeah, mas.mas wrote:got the new south park game for the 360. Wanted to play it but now my wife and kids are all over it. Now I don't have a 360 anymore lol. Went back to the game store and got punch out for the wii and a boy and his blob. then went to a pawn shop and bought twilight princess for the wii for 5.00. Funny thing was I wanted to get spyro and final fantasy also but they were scratched so the guy just gave them to me. 3 games for 5.00. The first time I got a good deal in a long time. Had no intentions to go the pawn shop but it was too early to get my kids from school.

SNES QJ SN Programmable SV-336 - $10.00 Luna Games
For an older Arcade Controller, this has very sweet micro switches. Nice tactical feedback, this beats the grey PS1 Arcade stick I see all the time. Has a LCD screen for programming, also indicates stick direction switch and fire button hits.
SNES Supaboy Plastic Empty Box - $5.00 Luna Games
Just the box, the OCD collector in me wanted this. I already have Supaboy 2.0 which comes in a cardboard box. This is the 1.0 plastic box that almost completely encloses the cardboard box inside.
DVD Dead Man - $5.00 BookOff
DVD Momento Special Edition - $5.00 BookOff
DVD Koyaanisqatsi - $5.00 BookOff
All pristine condition, love the way BookOff protects the media with resealable plastic envelopes.
This was especially important for the movie Momento which has a cardboard cover simulating a patient's file folder. This DVD Special Edition has a crazy menu that plays out like the movie; a memory search to find all the Easter Eggs.

Koyaanisqatsi is a montage of video and music. Slug thru over an hour watching city scenes in fast forward, this is crap! Baraka is sooo much better.
"Tetris" Date Calendar Pencil Holder - $0.25 Thrift Store
Well that is what it reminded me of, a cross between Rubic's Cube and the Sliding 15 Number puzzle games.
SNES Faceball - $6.94 EBay
Not bad for a CIB SNES game Ebay purchase. Been wanting a GBA version of the addicting GB version. This works as a larger portable version for the Supaboy. Anyone remember seeing the Atari St original years ago?
SNES Gamepad - $15.00 Luna Games
SNES Gamepad - $3.00 Swap Meet
For Fire Retard Plastic, both in very good non sunburned condition.

The Dead Man movie is more like an Indie film, quite good, has a cameo role with Robert Mitchem and in black and white for the higher contrast. The old Indian is a kick calling Depp "Stupid White Man", ironic years later he plays an Indian in the new Lone Ranger movie.Wiki wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memento_%28film%29
The Limited Edition DVD is uniquely packaged to look like Leonard's case file from a mental institution, with notes scribbled by "doctors" and Leonard on the inside. The DVD menus are designed as a series of psychological tests; the viewer has to choose certain words, objects, and multiple choice answers to play the movie or access special features.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I found an old Atari Pong Home console (from the 1970s) at the Salvation Army that looked in great condition. I had to pass on it since my Gaming budget is a bit low right now. If it's still there next week when I get paid then I might consider picking it up.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Another mountain of stuff today thanks to the PSP 3001 bundle lot I got off eBay.
From Ebay for $132 Shipped. Was looking for a 3001 unit to record with and this happened to catch my eye while I was hunting eBay. Bidding war brought it from $100-$132 in the last 30 secs lol
. Still some good games in there and plenty of duplicates that I can resale to recoup some of the money.

Also hit the pawns and decided to hit Goodwill since I had to drop off some packages at the post office next door.
Pawn #1
Got these for $3 a piece

Pawn #2
One of the clerks I have befriended was there so he tossed in Mojo for free. Rest came to $12. Have been meaning to pick up Earth Defense Force 2017 for a while now the copies are only $9 at gamestop right now but about the only place I can get them is online and shipping would bump it to $14
.

Goodwill as usual had crazy high prices but I managed to find this record of WW2 Hits and the first VCR game to enter my collection.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
From Pawn America I picked up a couple of things.
Yu-Gi-Oh: The Dawn of Destiny CIB (Xbox Platinum Hits version, no cards) - $1
Phantasy Star Portable CIB (PSP) - $5
Gadget Boy DVD (10 episodes) - $2
Plus the two PSP games I ordered from Walmart ship-to-store came in so I picked up Platypus and Tactics Ogre. I actually have a fairly decent PSP collection and don't yet have a PSP. Oh well, I'll find one at some point, maybe at a garage sale this spring/summer.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I got X-Men Children of the Atom for $20 from an Amazon seller and I got Real Bout Fatal Fury Best Collection for $4.67 shipped from eBay. I'm getting ever closer to a complete Capcom Sega Saturn 2D fighting game collection! I am not looking forward to hunting down Street Fighter Zero 3 though.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Took another trip to a local retro game store today with my girlfriend and a mutual friend of ours. I decided it was time to clear out my closet of all the old systems/games I didn't need to hold on to anymore, and ended up getting about $75 in store credit which I quickly used to purchase these:

The Bluetooth speaker and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves were both $20 each, Super Ghouls N' Ghosts, the 7th Saga, and Wario Land were all $10, and the Rumble Pack was $5. Definitely left a satisfied customer. I've never played Ghouls N' Ghosts or the 7th Saga, though I've heard good things about both. Can anyone attest to either?

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I can finally join others in this thread:
PS3 160GB + 15 games
-Far Cry 3
-COD black ops 2
-COD black ops 1
-Battlefield 3
-Fifa 3
-Medal of Honor
-Little Big Planet
-Dragon Age II
-La Noire
-Batman Arkham City
-Deus Ex
-Skyrim
-The Last of Us
-MGS 4
-Uncharted 3
All for $160 , what do you think?
I am also supposed to be getting Tomb Raider, Assassin Creed II, Uncharted 1+2 , GTA 4 . Though I am not sure if he is going to give them to me, he didn't look like he cared much to search for them and I know the games are collecting dust at his home .
The downside is that there are games in there I will not play like Fifa 13, CODs, and Battlefield. There are other games that I was not planning to play and I wonder if i should just because I got them now: Dragon Age II , Deus Ex, Skyrim, Little Big Planet, Far Cry 3 which I hated on oXbox .

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Not the deal of the year, but you did decent. Lot of solid titles though, you could sell off a few to recoop money since you do not seem interested in playing a lot of them. You may want to give Far Cry 3 a chance though.
