Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hey, I'm 17 and from Northeastern Ohio. I'm a bigtime retro game junkie and have searched and searched for a good gaming community. After reading around the forums and some of the articles, I settled on racketboy. Fav genres are Shmups (particularly fond of Cave's shooters), RPGs (especially the old JRPGs), and pretty much any old arcade game. Favorite game EVER is Donpachi, closely followed by Super Vehicle 001 Metal Slug. Also, I currently have EXTENSIVE wishlists for PS1, Saturn, and Genesis. Glad to join the community!

TOAPLAN FOREVER

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hey everybody, I am the YellowGameboyColor! Or not really, but I'm 17 and I am an avid handheld collector! It all started for me with my Yellow Gameboy Color and Pokemon Crystal (unforunately lost to my cousins overseas) and I started collecting just last year in April, ever since reminiscing the good times I had with them. So ever since last year I have been focusing more on the handhelds of Nintendo from OG Gameboy-3DS. I am a member of a couple of other collecting forums but I had never heard of racketboy until just recently. So I searched this place up, did a little snooping around, and I finally decided to make myself an account! So here's to what hopefully will be a good experience with you all! Hope we can all interact somehow through our different goals in this hobby!

Welcome welcome! I am a big Game Gear collector but I own all of the different variations on the GB Color as well. Good to see a fellow handheld enthusiast:)
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hi, I'm 21 and live in Huntington, WV. I've been an avid gamer since elementary school and love collecting pretty much anything game related. The largest part of my collection is based on the PS2 however I have been slowly acquiring some of the older systems and games. Being a college student on a low budget I go out hunting at pawn shops and flea markets about every weekend and I'm constantly running into awesome finds. Stumbled onto this site while looking for some information on my latest haul of games, and was so impressed I decided to sign up
. You guys have an awesome community and I'm glad to be a part of it

Hey I am "Visualante" and I am 25 years old and married. I have loved videogames since I was 6. My favorite system was the sega saturn followed by the N64. I was browsing the net for retro games and landed on this forum, read a couple of threads and decided to sign up. I am looking forward to some engaging discussions. peace!

Welcome to the forum. Based on your video, I think that you will fit right in. (We have a lot of people on here that love hunting good gaming deals...myself included.)
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hi,
My name is Pierre, I'm from Canada, but I live in Japan right now.
2 months ago, i bought a x-box360 for 40$. I was kinda happy to find it for so cheap.
later on I found a gamecube in mint condition with cable and controllers for 12$. I found out that consoles in Japan were cheap and start buying them all. 2 months later, I'm sitting in my apartment with 15 consoles, and tons of games. I took few pictures if you want to check : there is 29 pics http://imgur.com/gallery/3lbIy/new
I discovered the Sega Saturn here, cause in Canada, it wasn't popular at all. I'm now doing my best to collect good games for that platform almost exclusively. (altough I bought all my favorites/nostalgic games for the other consoles) I feel like the world missed on something amazing by ''boycotting'' the Saturn and the later Dreamcast.
