What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Wow Mod_Man, best wishes!

My advice on planning the wedding: Stay out of it, smile and nod, and remember the wedding is her day.

It sure is. It's fine to have opinions and chime in and such, but let her do what she wants. She's been looking forward to her wedding day her whole life, let her have it her way.

I myself could have never gotten married at an age where I couldn't order a beer, but Mod_Man seems pretty mature for his age. And unlike my parents (and most parents) I suggest couples live together for at least a year before tying the knot. I wish you all the best Mod_Man, and no worries, I will not be crashing your wedding.

Smile: I found the Ipod Shuffle I've been looking for since I moved into this apartment 4 months ago!

Frown: ...it's been in my car the whole time. My car. That is in Texas. Where it gets rather hot.

Anyone want to buy a slightly used Ipod Shuffle?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

:D : My wife told me once that she used to love playing Tekken back in the ps1 days.

So the other day I bought her a copy of Tekken 2, which she loved, and we fought 20 matches last night.

She kicked my butt at first, 5 matches in a row in fact, but the final score was 12-8 for me.

Good times.

Why is it lately that the minute I get a few free hours to sit down and play some games it storms or threatens to storm, and the minute I have something I need to do the weather clears right up? It's starting to tick me off. I'd play the freaking game anyway, but I don't want to kill another television or risk hearing one of my consoles go *POP!*. :?
